KazuNori: The Original Hand Roll Bar® Reviews
Definitely a place worth visiting if you are a fan of Hand Roll Sushi. The place does not take reservations, you have to queue, but the queue moves pretty fast and you get seated rapidly. The atmosphere is very cozy, and quiet (despite the fact that it is busy). Each roll tried was very good, plus I loved the fact that they have everyday special dishes, depending on the seasonal availability. We got the Sea bass sashimi as a special dish and it was very good! Moreover, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Would for sure recommend this place!
March 16 · MaraTip: eat FAST! The hand rolls taste best when first placed because the nori/seaweed is still super crispy, the rice is hot, and the fish is cold.Got the 6-roll set and loved the yellowtail best. Super FRESH and clean tasting, especially with the micro scallions! Also,if you go in on a weekend, expect to have to stand inside the restaurant to wait. However- the line moves fast and the vibes are good! Well worth a visit!
February 03 · NatalieUmmm yummmmm?!?! This was so fun and good!!! I got the 6 roll option because if i’m gonna eat then i’m GONNA EAT u know what i meanThe 6 roll set came with Toro, Yellowtail, Salmon, Scallop, Crab, and Lobster. My favorite was probably the scallop it was so light and smooth and supple and creamy I loved it so much. The hand rolls were a great size and the rice was so warm and delish I wish i could just reach in the rice cooker and grab a handful mmmmmLoved the sushi counter type seating as well! The lighting inside was really cool. My only gripe is they don’t have a designated waiting area so people are in line to eat along all the walls so you always have people standing behind you while you eat but the food was great so it didn’t really bother me that much.
March 19 · Patrick ZajacFreshly and delicious rolls. Quiet and cozy place. I don’t like nori but at this place the taste was fabulous!
April 03 · Antonio RybalchDespite a short line, the service today was surprisingly poor. After being seated, we waited 10 minutes before anyone brought menus or acknowledged us. At 4pm, we were told only the 5-course option was available due to multiple items being out of stock — quite early in the day for that kind of limitation. When the first hand roll arrived, there was no soy sauce, wasabi, or ginger — essentials at any sushi spot. I tried to get the server’s attention for nearly 10 minutes. She seemed checked out, making eye contact but never responding — as if she knew what to do but chose not to.Overall, one of my most disappointing visits to a sushi handroll bar. I truly hope the K-Town location improves its hospitality and consistency.
