Kikoo Sushi Reviews
This is an all you can eat dinner with choices that range from soups and salads to dumplings and spring rolls to sashimi rolls and sushi to desert . Also included is sake and beer. You can keep ordering for up to two hours. The bill came to about $70 per person including tip. Everything was delicious. Sushi and sashimi were fresh and good quality. The many apps were all yummy. This is a great place and wonderful value. It also amazes me how many people complain about the 18% tip included on the bill. I mean don't most people give 20% tips these days? What city do these people live in? Do they not go out for dinner ever? It's perfectly fine for a restaurant to include a tip. Servers work hard. If a 18% tip seems excessive to you then stick to McDonalds.
Dec 15, 2024 · Michael LehrmanThe food was delicious. Better to pay in cash because they charge more for credit cards, and they include a mandatory tip automatically.
May 01, 2025 · Phil BThe food was decent, but the experience was disappointing. They added an 18% tip for just two people without notice. For an “all you can eat” place, having a 15 item limit on basic sushi and sashimi felt misleading. Service was unprofessional. One of the female servers kept asking us to do little tasks, like moving plates closer to her or removing our chopsticks from shared plates so she could clear them. In most restaurants, the staff would just handle that themselves, so it felt odd and a bit unprofessional. Overall, not a place I’d recommend
Apr 24, 2025 · Yewon YoonWhat makes Kikoo Sushi stand out is not just the food, but the entire dining experience. The interior is modern and relaxing, and the staff take great care to ensure every guest is satisfied. I enjoyed the calm atmosphere and the chance to savor each bite of my meal without any rush.
May 26, 2025 · Alex221We’ve been to this restaurant several times. The fish is very fresh, and the sashimi is excellent! Ordering is convenient. An 18% tip is already included in the bill. It’s cheaper to pay in cash since using a card increases the total. The rolls are delicious, and you can also order miso soup, shrimp, beef, salmon, and desserts. There’s a limit of one piece of mochi per person, and sashimi is limited to 15 pieces per person per order. One odd thing we’ve noticed: for example, you order 10 different rolls, but they bring out a tray with only 7 portions. You think they might bring the rest later, but they don’t. In the end, it’s actually fine because we’re already full, so those extra rolls wouldn’t fit. This has happened several times, and we’ve always felt satisfied with what they brought, so we don’t ask why the full order didn’t arrive. For example, in the photo, we ordered 8 rolls, but they brought out what’s on the tray - 5 portions. It was enough for us, so it was totally fine.We really enjoy it here—the atmosphere is calm and quiet, and the staff is friendly. One of the few worthwhile all-you-can-eat spots for rolls on Manhattan in terms of price and quality.
