There's literally a fire lit anywhere you turn. Our chef did an excellent job cooking our meals in front of us. He even brought out all the tricks to impress us.The cocktails and appetizers were delicious as well as the food that the chef prepared.Our waitress was pleasant and actually took the time to have a real conversation with us. She talked about her family and three kids(even though she didn't look like she had grown kids).She was very personable and kind.The parking was free, and there were enough spaces. My only complaint would be the pricing. The night ended up being a pretty hefty amount. So be prepared to spend money.All in all, Kimura Japanese Steak House should be a must-try if you're in the area.Highly Recommend - 4 Stars!

I haven't been to Kimura in years. It seems like it's under new ownership as a few things have changed. I noticed that the prices are significantly higher than other habachi places.Walking in, they wouldn't seat us until our entire party was there. When we got our entire party, they walked us to a table and handed us menus. One person in our party ordered a drink and didn't realize how huge it was. It may have been a misunderstanding on this person's end but the drink menu should specify that it's coming out in a fish bowl size glass. When we got to our entrees, the server didn't ask for our temperature on steak items. Turns out the chef asks when he gets to us. I had a child with me who just wanted habachi fried rice and the server told me I wasn't able to order it like that since he wasn't ordering an entree. Was confused and went back and forth with each other. We had to skip him and place an extra order of fried rice on my order. Isn't that the same thing?Soup and salad came out - both great. The sauces (yum yum and ginger sauce) - the ginger sauce tasted different than the typical.The chef had cooked all of our food in a timely manner but I felt like the order was off. We received our vegetables almost last. I thought it should've came after the rice. I don't think we would go back anytime soon.

This was my 2nd time here. Last time I came with a handful of friends, this time with a large group.The food was great, both hibachi and sushi. They have one of the best miso soups out there.The hibachi guy was entertaining as usual. That's not an easy job, cooking and being funny while half the table ignores him. He was also patient with the kids, which is really great.The waitress was too stressed out for me to write about her. I'm sure she can be great, but she was definitely having a bad day. People have bad days. Give her a break.I also sat at the bar for a bit, the tender was busy yet friendly, and fast to get order and hand me a well made drink.I'm definitely stopping by Kimura again next time I'm in Boyton Beach 👍

The hostess was miserable and had a terrible attitude and the floors were filthy which is why it’s not getting five stars. But the reason I am leaving such a good review is because the chef, Alvin was sooo funny and kind! The food tasted great and the little show he did was awesome. He has a fantastic personality and is the reason we’ll be coming back. I pray they hire new hosts because the first faces you see there should be friendly and she was just awful, especially it being our first time there. Great job Alvin!

We had a great time here! Cadell was our waiter, and he was very attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The chef was hilarious and kept us laughing the entire time while showing off his cooking skills. All the food was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. We’ll definitely be coming back!
