KIWAMI Sushi Bar & Sake House Introduce
For individuals in Kirkland, WA, seeking a contemporary Japanese dining experience, **KIWAMI Sushi Bar & Sake House** offers a distinct option. Located at 104 Kirkland Ave, this establishment positions itself as a modern destination for sushi and sake enthusiasts. In the context of a platform like "Doctor Near Me," which serves as a valuable local directory for various services and goods, KIWAMI Sushi Bar & Sake House presents itself as a potential solution for those desiring a sophisticated Japanese meal within their immediate vicinity. While it may not offer a "cure" for every craving, it aims to deliver a specific type of culinary experience that caters to a discerning palate.
The **environment** at KIWAMI Sushi Bar & Sake House is described as having a "nice atmosphere." This suggests a well-designed interior that contributes to an enjoyable dining experience. Patrons choosing to sit at the bar can observe the sushi chefs at work, adding an element of engagement to their visit. The overall ambiance is likely designed to be modern and chic, aligning with the "Sushi Bar & Sake House" designation. While specific details about decor are not provided, the general positive sentiment towards the atmosphere indicates a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing setting that caters to a contemporary dining preference. This makes it suitable for both casual outings and more intimate dining occasions, aiming to provide a pleasant backdrop for enjoying Japanese cuisine.
In terms of **services**, KIWAMI Sushi Bar & Sake House is noted for its **prompt service**. This efficiency ensures that diners are attended to in a timely manner, which is crucial for a smooth dining experience, especially during peak hours. Whether it's taking orders, delivering dishes, or processing payments, the staff strives for quick and attentive service. However, it's important to note the presence of a **$1 takeout fee**, whether ordering by phone for in-person payment or through online platforms. This fee, while small, can accumulate, especially for frequent takeout customers, and has been a point of consideration for some patrons. Despite this, the overall service during dine-in experiences appears to be efficient and professional, contributing positively to the customer's visit. The restaurant's contact information, phone (425) 739-8899 and mobile phone (+1 425-739-8899), makes it easy for customers to place orders or make inquiries, reinforcing its accessibility for local users.
The **features** of KIWAMI Sushi Bar & Sake House primarily revolve around its sushi and sake offerings, presented within a modern Japanese framework. The menu includes a variety of sushi rolls, with "7th heaven" and "red dragon" being mentioned as options tried by customers. While these rolls were described as "ok," the **creamy scallop** was noted as "very disappointing," with a perceived lack of freshness and taste, possibly due to excessive chopping. This suggests that while some dishes may be satisfactory, others might not consistently meet expectations for flavor or freshness, particularly when compared to other establishments. The chirashi, though noted for its "nice looking and tastes good," comes with a higher price point, almost $35 including tax and the takeout fee, which some customers felt did not offer sufficient sashimi quantity compared to competitors. This indicates that while the presentation and initial taste can be good, the value proposition for certain items might be a consideration for budget-conscious diners.
The "Sake House" aspect of its name implies a curated selection of sake, enhancing the authentic Japanese experience for those interested in pairing their sushi with traditional beverages. This dual focus on both sushi and sake allows KIWAMI to cater to a broader range of preferences, offering a more complete Japanese dining experience than a standard sushi bar. The overall impression is that KIWAMI aims for a refined and modern take on Japanese cuisine, prioritizing presentation and a contemporary atmosphere.
From a **promotional information** perspective, KIWAMI Sushi Bar & Sake House relies on its modern ambiance and the allure of fresh sushi and sake. The emphasis on a "nice atmosphere" is a key selling point for those seeking a more upscale or trendier dining experience. The convenience of takeout ordering, despite the associated fee, broadens its reach. For local users searching "Doctor Near Me" for a specific type of Japanese meal, KIWAMI offers an accessible option. However, promotional efforts would likely need to address the perceived value for money, especially for takeout orders and certain menu items. While the initial experience might be satisfactory for a first-time try, the restaurant faces competition from "more affordable choices," as noted by customers. Therefore, continued promotional efforts might focus on highlighting specific signature dishes that consistently deliver on both quality and value, or emphasizing the unique aspects of their sake selection and modern dining atmosphere to attract and retain a loyal customer base in the competitive Kirkland dining scene. The objective is to draw in customers seeking a refined and prompt Japanese culinary experience, even if it comes at a premium.

KIWAMI Sushi Bar & Sake House Reviews
We chose to sit by the bar coming close to 6pm for dinner (no wait at the time). The sushi that we ordered were 7th heaven, red dragon, and creamy scallop. Both 7th heaven and red dragon tasted ok, the creamy scallop was very disappointing. Felt like it was not fresh scallop, maybe because they cut it up so much that I barely taste the scallop. I definitely had better creamy scallop gunkan elsewhere. The atmosphere was nice. Service was prompt. For the price that we ended up paying, we might not come back as nothing really stood out for us.
Apr 14, 2025 · Claudia RuslanOrdered takeout food from here. Nice looking and tastes good. It charged 1 dollar fee for just ordering takeout, whether you call in to order and pay in person OR order online. Plus the tax, this Chirashi was almost 35 dollars. I’ve gone somewhere else for that price and the amount of sashimi I get. It’s a not bad decision to try for the first time, but probably not returning since there are more affordable choices.
