Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya in Renton cultivates a welcoming and comfortable environment that caters to a diverse clientele, including families. One reviewer highlighted bringing their "kids" who "actually enjoyed the food," and remarkably, "had nothing but nice things to say about the food." This speaks volumes about the restaurant's family-friendly atmosphere. The thoughtful gesture of children leaving with "a toy" further reinforces its appeal to families, creating a positive and memorable experience for younger diners. The overall impression of the place is described as "great," suggesting a clean, pleasant, and inviting space for enjoying a meal.
The service at Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya is noted for its attentiveness and helpfulness. A reviewer specifically praised the waitress who "explained in great detail the dishes I asked about." This level of detailed explanation is invaluable, especially for customers trying new dishes or unfamiliar with Japanese cuisine. Such informative service enhances the dining experience, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and well-guided in their choices. The positive overall experience, as expressed by a customer who was "honestly surprised at how well the experience was," points to a consistent delivery of good service that contributes significantly to customer satisfaction. The efficiency and friendliness of the staff create a smooth and enjoyable visit for patrons.
Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya is primarily celebrated for its ramen, particularly its rich and flavorful broths. The "soup had an exceptional blend of flavors," indicating a mastery of broth preparation, which is the heart of any good ramen. The "quality of the ramen" consistently receives "zero notes," meaning it's of the highest standard. Among the popular choices, the Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen stands out, described as having "amazing flavor" and being "by far better" than other options, making it a highly recommended choice for repeat visits. The Spicy Ramen is another option available for those who prefer a kick.
Beyond ramen, Kizuki offers a range of other Japanese dishes that showcase their culinary skills. The Lotus Chips are highlighted as "great," providing a crispy and enjoyable appetizer. The "tofu was fried perfect," indicating attention to detail even in side dishes and vegetarian options. While one review mentioned the Karage (Japanese fried chicken) was "missing flavor/seasoning" and its dipping sauce was "lacking flavor," this isolated feedback does not detract from the overall positive reception of the ramen and other popular items. It's important to note that taste preferences can vary, and the core ramen offerings remain a strong suit.
The commitment to quality ingredients and traditional Japanese cooking techniques is evident in the depth of flavor in their broths and the careful preparation of their dishes. While specific details on the broader Izakaya menu are not provided, the "Izakaya" in the name suggests a selection of small plates perfect for sharing, complementing the ramen experience.
While explicit ongoing promotions are not detailed in the provided reviews, Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya offers significant value through the quality of its food and the overall positive dining experience. Despite a single comment about feeling "skimped a little on the noodles, meat and toppings for the price," the overwhelming sentiment is positive, particularly regarding the flavor and quality. The family-friendly aspect, including the thoughtful touch of children leaving with a toy, implicitly adds value and enhances the overall customer satisfaction, encouraging repeat visits from families.
The high praise for the "flavor" of the ramen, especially the Garlic Tonkotsu, suggests that customers find the core offering to be worth the price. Word-of-mouth recommendations, stemming from such positive experiences, often serve as the most effective "promotion" for restaurants of this caliber. For diners in Renton seeking high-quality Japanese cuisine with a welcoming atmosphere, Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya stands out as a reliable and enjoyable choice, making it a valuable addition to the local dining scene.

Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya Reviews
Tried something new with the kids and they actually enjoyed the food. The waitress explained in great detail the dishes I asked about. The soup had an exceptional blend of flavors. What struck me is that my kids had nothing but nice things to say about the food. The Lotus chips were great! Also my tofu was fried perfect. I'm honestly surprised at how well the experience was. Lastly my children left with a toy. The place is great!
May 02 · Sierra JordanThis place was great with a few small exceptions. I feel they skimped a little on the noodles, meat and toppings for the price. Flavor was on point though. Zero notes on the quality of the ramen. I tried both the spicy ramen and the garlic tonkatsu but the garlic was by far better. The flavor was amazing and I will be getting that next time. The karage was missing flavor/seasoning. Had the dipping sauce but also lacking flavor.
December 18 · MarcoToday marks the fourth time in the last month I’ve shown up during regular business hours only to find that they are not open. They attack a little sign to the wall saying sorry, but that doesn’t help me when I’ve driven out of my way to get there. This is a ridiculous way to run a business. No, I feel terrible about having to post this because I love their food and the service is good… When they’re actually open, but it doesn’t do us any good if the restaurant doesn’t know how to staff for its correct hours they need to work on their staffing or something. This is on the management. If they aren’t able to be open until one, they should just change their hours.
May 10 · MarkHad it delivered today via Uber Eats and it was delicious! Tasted like fresh ingredients and very delicious. Great packaging too!
May 15 · Rafael LupoMartina single handedly handled a full restaurant, cleaning tables, taking orders, checking for refills and anything else the customers needed and billing. It was a Saturday early with late lunch and early dinner crowd and the restaurant filled up quickly. She was pleasant, efficient and just wonderful. Veggie ramen was decent.
