Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya|Legacy | A true taste of Japanese Ramen and Izakaya Reviews
Really good ambiance at Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya!I had the Yuzu Shio Ramen (substituted tofu for pork) and Vegetarian Ramen, with sides of Gyoza and Vegetable Harumaki. Out of all four, the Vegetable Harumaki was definitely the standout — super delicious! The Yuzu Shio Ramen was excellent as always, with a nice yuzu flavor. The broth was slightly less salty than expected, but a little shoyu fixed it perfectly. My only complaint was the tofu — it was just plain and bland, simply cut and placed on top without any seasoning or pan-frying.The Vegetarian Ramen was decent and slightly above average — the only odd thing was it had noticeably less soup than usual, but otherwise tasted good. The Gyoza, unfortunately, was disappointing — $8 for 5 small pieces (with one broken) wasn’t worth it. The taste was just okay; honestly, frozen ones from Trader Joe’s have been much better. One odd thing, maybe it was a mistake or maybe they do with regularly but before I finished my ramen they came to table with payment machine asking to pay, I had to tell her to let me finish first but it was super weird as there were only 2 tables full rest all empty so what’s the rush that took during lunch time. All four dishes with tip came to about $60, which wasn’t bad at all for the overall experience.Would definitely come back for the ramen and atmosphere, but might skip the gyoza next time
April 28 · Adarsh ParakhThe places had a great ambiance with contemporary Japanese art donning the walls and architecture influencing the design of the restaurant. The food was solid with quality ingredients adding to the unique flavors. The food took a while to prepare but it was well worth the wait. The employees were all very friendly and seemed happy to work there. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will probably coming back in the near future.
April 11 · Taylor FentonI had a wonderful experience at Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and had an authentic Japanese feel that really enhanced the dining experience. I ordered the spicy ramen, and it exceeded my expectations—it had a rich, flavorful broth with just the right level of heat. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings complemented the dish well. Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, and the rest of the staff was equally welcoming. They offered great recommendations that helped us decide what to try.
May 13 · Shreeprasad SonarA promising ramen shop with fantastic broths and noodles but with a few hiccups! The broths were exceptionally flavorful, and the noodles were chewy and delicious. I recommend the Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen. The gyoza were a highlight for me. They had a thin wrap and were crispy on the bottom and soft and tender on top, which is a very traditional gyoza/dumpling experience. If you are looking for full deep fried dumplings though, this won't be for you.In the ramen, their egg was very slightly overcooked but not to the point of detriment. On the other hand, the chashu was a little disappointing. It wasn't really tender or flavorful like chashu can be, and was the definite lowlight of the ramen.Still an overall great experience though! The service is exceptional as well.
May 07 · Ryan ZhangHad such a great experience here the other day! Food was great and so were our drinks. I got the Lavender Honey Martini and my niece got a milk tea. Tried the Miso Ramen and it was a huge portion with great flavor. This is coming from a picky miso soup person! Bella was so kind and took such great care of us as well! We will definitely be back to try more.
