Koi sushi and izakaya Reviews
I enjoyed everything. 😆. The izakaya items were my favorite. The sushi was okay. Cute decor. There are private rooms for larger parties but if you need a back rest since it is only table and benches, ask for a regular table.
Apr 23, 2025 · Lillian L.Wow! Everything we ordered was so delicious. So excited to see set meals on the menu! They come with different sides but our favorite was the potato croquette. It was so good! We ordered the tempura, grilled salmon, and the oyakodon (chicken and egg) set meals, along with katsudon. For appetizer we got ikageso and okonomiyaki, it was both incredible! The ikageso was cooked perfectly without being overcooked or chewy. Okonomiyaki takes a while to make, so we had to wait a while but it was soooo worth it. We didn’t order the sashimi plate, but it looked so good for $70 for 25 pc. Maybe next time. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations and so glad we tried this place out.
Mar 16, 2025 · EllaWe went to this place on a Sunday evening, and I was really craving chirashi don. My husband doesn’t eat raw fish, so I was happy to find that they have a great selection of non-raw fish dishes too. My husband got the katsudon and really enjoyed it, while I went for the grilled salmon neck with no salt for our toddler, and she loved it.I normally don’t finish chirashi don because halfway through, the fish smell usually starts to get to me. But this time, I finished the whole thing without any issue. The fish was so fresh, and the flavors were really balanced—it didn’t have that overpowering fishy smell that usually gets to me. It was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back!
Feb 04, 2025 · JessicaEverything we had was delicious. Tako Wasabi was addicting, potato korroke was crispy and piping hot, chicken karage was tender and juicy, sukiyaki was seasoned perfectly with a good amount of meat, small sashimi plate had soft and buttery fish, and the creamy udon was so smooth and creamy, somewhat heavy but that could also be because we were so full!
Feb 16, 2025 · Hong duong LeReally wanted to try here after looking at their menu, specifically the teishoku.Loved all the Christmas themed decorations they set up and made the whole restaurant very inviting. We ordered some salmon sashimi to share and I got the grilled salmon teishoku. Salmon was alright and glad it was a decent portion for $15. My teishoku though really could have used some rice. Very strange to have a grilled fish with no rice. I did enjoy everything on the set though.Sadly this place does need some additional staff for the front. Even though there were only 10 tables for seating, there was only 1 person working the entire front and it took time to get seated and even receiving the check. With a bit more time for my lunch break, it would be more of an enjoyable experience.
