Kokoro Maki House Reviews
I’ve been here twice now, each time I was seeking more than a meal.My first experience was when I was just coming off of a feverish illness and back into my daily work schedule during the heart of winter. Looking for a satiating and warm meal, I stopped in here for Ramen. Not only satiating but excellent value in an extraordinarily welcoming environment. The second experience came months later, in the throws of severe thunderstorms and high winds like we know here in the Midwest. Not only did they allow me to enter into their dining area before their official opening time, but they served me to the same high standard of quality and etiquette in a less than ideal weather environment. I took full advantage of their happy hour pricing, which was an incredible value, for the quality and serving size of the dishes.I will always come to the Kokoro Maki house with a hearty appetite and enough funds to add a significant tip.
May 19 · William RidgeI'm sad I overlooked this restaurant for so long. I recently got the Korean fried chicken and spicy pork bento boxes and was blown away. Everything was so good. The crab rangoon had a nice crunch and a ton of filling. The chicken was so crispy, good flavor, and fell off the bone. The spicy pork was tender and delicious. Even the salad was good despite looking so uninspiring. My meal was so good, I went back within the week and had another fantastic meal. The staff is incredibly friendly. Do not make my mistake and overlook this place.
April 29 · Eric NeuhauserExcellent spot for sushi right off Wornall! I loved the Kokoro maki roll, volcano roll, and the hot mama roll. The crab Rangoon was awesome too.I can’t recommend this place enough and being super close to it this will definitely be a go to in the future!
April 11 · Carson BargerCame here for the first time with some friends. I definitely will be coming back! Delicious, well prepared, and great presentation. Best of all, reasonably priced. They have happy hour, $1 off ALL sushi. I recommend looking at the menu online before arriving since they have a variety of dishes & you order at the cash register.
February 16 · Jocelyn ParkI have gone here a couple times with my family, and the food, service, and environment is always top notch ! Lanterns offer mood lighting, and dark wooden tables and chairs are very cozy ! The service is friendly, attentive, and the food is delicious and high quality. Their new ramen bowls taste fresh, are creamy, have the perfect amount of meat, and have the tastiest egg. Their maki house and dragon rolls are to die for, I always enjoy this place 😋💗
