Updated review: all three of us felt SICK after eating here. AND the rude old Asian waitress never gave my friends credit card back. We didn’t realize untill the next day and they were closed until after our flight left. This place is a disgusting dump and should truly be shut downOld review: Terrible service! The women who served us was rude and sassy. Not sure if she was just having a bad day or what but she seriously needs to work on her customer service abilities. If you want to have a terrible experience, go here. Good ramen tho. - Royce Blackstock

Features and Highlights

What sets KoKoRo Ramen apart and makes it a destination for some Las Vegas locals seeking a ramen fix? Here are some notable features and highlights based on available information:

  • Authentic Tonkotsu Ramen: The "tonkotsu ramen" is a key offering and is praised by many as being truly delicious. The "pork chashu was delicious and melted in my mouth," indicating a well-prepared and flavorful protein component. The Tonkotsu broth itself is often described as rich and satisfying.
  • Variety of Ramen Broths: Beyond Tonkotsu, KoKoRo Ramen offers a selection of popular ramen bases, ensuring there's a flavor profile for different preferences:
    • Shoyu Ramen: A soy sauce-flavored broth.
    • Miso Ramen: A miso-paste flavored broth, sometimes noted for a hint of spiciness from dried red peppers.
    • Black Garlic Ramen: Featuring black garlic oil for a deeper, more aromatic flavor.
    • Midori Basil Ramen: A unique Tonkotsu-flavored ramen with basil, offering a fresh twist.
    • Spicy Ramen Options: Including Spicy Tonkotsu and Spicy Niku Ramen, for those who enjoy a kick.
    • Veggie Ramen Options: Including Veggie Shoyu Ramen with a veggie bonito broth, and Vegetarian Maje Ramen (soup-less).
    • Cold Noodles: Options like Zaru and Hiyashi Noodle for a refreshing alternative, especially during warmer months.
  • Melt-in-Your-Mouth Chashu: A recurring highlight is the quality of their pork chashu, described as "delicious and melted in my mouth." This tender, flavorful pork is a crucial element of a great ramen bowl.
  • Speedy Service: One of the most consistently praised aspects of KoKoRo Ramen is its "excellent and speedy" service. Customers note receiving their ramen "almost as soon as I ordered it," making it an ideal choice for a quick meal.
  • Extensive Appetizer Menu: Beyond ramen, KoKoRo offers a wide array of appetizers and side dishes to complement your meal:
    • Gyoza: Pan-fried dumplings, available with pork or vegetables.

  • Customization Options: Customers often have the choice between thin or thick noodles for their ramen, and can request their ramen to be "spicy or extra spicy" for an additional charge. Various extra toppings like additional chashu or extra soup are also available.

Promotions or Special Offers

KoKoRo Ramen, like many local eateries in Las Vegas, sometimes features special offers or promotions. While specific deals can fluctuate, here's an idea of what locals might find:

  • Kids Ramen: They offer a dedicated Kids Ramen, which is a Shoyu ramen base with soft-boiled egg, chashu, and corn, typically at a more accessible price point (around $8.95 - $10.24 depending on the platform). This makes it a family-friendly option.
  • Online Delivery Platform Deals: When ordering through third-party apps like DoorDash or Fantuan, customers might find exclusive promotions such as discounts on their first order, free delivery for a minimum spend, or specific meal bundles. These are often updated regularly by the platforms themselves.
  • Gift Cards: KoKoRo Ramen offers gift cards through services like Giftly, allowing locals to give the gift of ramen with flexible redemption options. While not a direct discount, it provides a convenient gifting solution.
  • Value Menu Items: Historically, KoKoRo Ramen has been known for offering very competitive prices on their ramen bowls, with some older mentions referring to bowls as low as $8 upon opening. While prices have adjusted, the general value proposition for a satisfying meal remains.

For the most current and active promotions, it is always recommended for locals to check KoKoRo Ramen's listings on popular food delivery apps or contact the restaurant directly.
