KUKAI Reviews
My favorite place in Tuscon! Coming from NY, I was thrilled to find a sushi spot that I come to every week. The food is incredible every time I go- I get Mt Fugi Don, the dumplings and the pork ramen which is by far the best I have ever had hands down (especially the ramen). My boyfriend gets the spicy crunch roll which he loves as well. We met the owner a couple of times and he is very welcoming. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, truly a gem.
Aug 11, 2024 · Hope HarringtonOur go-to spot for delicious ramen and hand rolls! Located at MSA Annex, it offers a full bar and inviting outdoor seating.
Feb 19, 2025 · Juan M RomeroOrdered a salmon onigiri, eel onigiri, and a shrimp tempura curry. The onigiri was just okay, very bland and only had salt from the seafood inside. The curry was really good, but SO SMALL for $16. I should be able to share a plate for this price and it barely filled me up. You only get 4 shrimp tempura and about 10-12 oz of both curry sauce and rice. Overpriced and small portions aren't worth it.
Apr 26, 2025 · Asher LeeI love the complex, with cute boutiques, fire pits and a beer bar.Got karage and meitaigo ramen from Kukai, the fried chicken are a bit too small for me. The ramen is great tho :)Its also amazing that you can eat the ramen at the beer bar near the fireplace !
