The food, drinks and cooking performance was great. Since it was a late Sunday evening, there weren't many people there. We did hibachi and our table guests were friendly.

I went to Kumo 27 because my friend's band was playing that night and my son was joining them for the first time. I was surprised how good the food was! I was expecting your typical run-of-the-mill American-Japanese with mediocre food. Boy, was I surprised! I ordered the Steak and Scallops Hibachi plate. That was a lot of food! That order didn't give you a choice of fried rice or noodles. They gave you both! If you're cutting carbs, this ain't the dish for you.It was very tasty and not greasy! The scallops were not overcooked nor rubbery. The steak was good, too! The vegetables were nice and crisp. Nothing was too salty. The seasoning was just right.The staff was very attentive, despite having a very packed house. They were able to accommodate my reservation of 12 people easily. What really surprised me was that the small Asian man bussing the tables was actually the owner. Just goes to show that hard work pays off.Of course, the band was banging that night. It was such a fun night. I, most definitely, will be visiting this spot again.

Came here with my family on a tuesday for hibachi, the place was not busy at all so eveything came very fast. It was very nice inside and huge. I had the lychee martini and it was delicious, the chef was very good and entertained my whole family. We all left happy, I would recommend

It's basically fast food Japanese with the same show. Sometimes the salad is watered down and the meal is usually with the same seasoning and once they start cooking the mill is finished within 10 minutes. In fairness to this restaurant all hibachi is the same

My family and I have been going to Kumo for many years even before when it was ShoGun! The food is delicious, staff is stellar and ambiance is perfect for several occasions. Hibachi is so much fun. There are private booths and rooms in the back for special events. They have amazing entertainment - Karaoke, DJ’s and bands that never seem to disappoint. The bartenders Alex and Tessa are top notch and the owner Leon interacts with his customers graciously and is hands on with whatever is needed. If you live in town it’s the perfect place to go. Guaranteed to know some of the regular’s. It’s like home away from home. If you have never been definitely try it and promise you will keep going back!!!!
