Kura Revolving Sushi Bar Introduce
For those in Arizona seeking a sushi dining experience that’s truly out of the ordinary, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar in Phoenix offers an innovative and incredibly fun approach to enjoying fresh Japanese cuisine. This isn't your traditional sit-down sushi restaurant; it’s an interactive adventure that combines delicious food with cutting-edge technology, making every visit a memorable one. If you’ve heard of revolving sushi but haven’t tried it, or if you're a seasoned fan of this unique concept, Kura on Camelback Road is a must-visit in the Valley.
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar differentiates itself through its dynamic and engaging atmosphere. As one delighted customer noted, the experience is "just as good, if not better than the experience" at other Kura locations, like in Las Vegas, NV, suggesting a consistent and high-quality standard across its establishments. The core of the experience revolves around plates of sushi gliding past your table on a conveyor belt, inviting you to pick and choose as you please. This "fun atmosphere" makes dining an engaging activity, especially for families or groups.
Beyond the visual appeal, the quality of the food at Kura consistently exceeds "casual dining expectations." Patrons rave that the "seafood was fresh, portioned well, and the hot dishes were hot, the cold was cold," ensuring that every item, whether retrieved from the belt or ordered fresh, is served at its optimal temperature and quality. Complementing the conveyor belt is a high-tech ordering system where specific items can be ordered via a tabletop tablet and delivered directly to your table via a separate, express conveyor belt, or even by a "cute little robot that delivers drinks." This blend of traditional and futuristic elements creates a truly unique and efficient dining environment.
While there's a "slight learning curve on how everything operates," once you get the hang of it, you'll "have a blast." Kura Revolving Sushi Bar offers more than just food; it offers an immersive and enjoyable culinary journey that's perfect for Arizona locals looking for a fun twist on their sushi night.

- Shopping Plaza Location: Being part of a larger shopping center or plaza typically provides ample parking space for patrons, which is a significant convenience in a busy urban area like Phoenix.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar offers a highly unique and technologically advanced dining experience centered around its distinctive delivery system and interactive features.
- Revolving Sushi Conveyor Belt: The signature service. Plates of fresh sushi and other Japanese dishes move along a conveyor belt, allowing diners to pick items as they pass their table. Guests can order specific items from the full menu that might not be on the belt, or simply their favorite dishes. These orders are then delivered quickly and directly to their table via a separate, express conveyor belt above the main one.
- Robot Drink Delivery: Adding to the futuristic fun, a "cute little robot" delivers drinks directly to tables, providing a novel and entertaining element to the dining experience.
- Bikkura Pon Prize System: An interactive reward system where for every 15 empty plates inserted into a special slot at the table, customers receive a prize from an overhead vending machine. This gamified approach makes dining particularly fun for children and competitive adults.
- Wide Variety of Sushi & Japanese Dishes: The menu extends beyond just traditional sushi rolls to include:
- Nigiri (e.g., Shrimp, Salmon, Tuna, Sea Urchin)
- Gunkan (e.g., Sea Urchin Gunkan)

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar Reviews
I’ve been to the one in Vegas, NV, and this was just as good, if not better than the experience there. The check in process is online or by kiosk when you arrive, and gives you detailed access to the waiting line info.We got seated after about 20 mins on a busy Friday night, and right away we got to grabbing. The atmosphere is fun and the food is beyond casual dining expectations. The seafood was fresh, portioned well, and the hot dishes were hot, the cold was cold.Sapporo on tap and a robot to accompany the conveyer belt really kept us hydrated and fed, and any immediate options we wanted were directly slid to us when we wanted to.
Feb 20, 2025 · Jon Austin MartinezVery unique experience! Most of the dishes come from the conveyerbelt on the wall. There is a cute little robot that delivers drinks to the table. There's a slight learning curve on how everything operates, but once you figure it out, you'll have a blast.
Dec 11, 2024 · Matthew KrauseWe've been to make Kura around the country and when we put our names on the wait-list using the app, the time quoted is the time we wait. HOWEVER, this Kura is horrible. I don't know if they need more/better trained wait staff or to fix their cpu's wait algorithm, but the few times we've come, we put out name on the wait-list, it say 5-15 min, and we end up waiting triple that.Today it said 5-10. We show up, check in, the see our name on the list already, and 30min later were told there's still 4 parties ahead of us and "it's gonna be awhile".If you're sick of waiting forever, there's Sushi Tokoro a 5min drive down the street that's also revolving sushi. We walked in and got immediately seated, no wait. As we're finishing up here, we *finally* get the notification from Kura that our table is ready - over an hour after we put our names on the list for a 5-10min wait. This Kura location really sucks. The food is the same as every, but man, this is the worst run place we've been to.Iv included a photo for the better revolving sushi down the street with zero wait.
Mar 23, 2025 · danielle blanchetteWent to dinner at 5pm on a Friday with my wife and 2 kids. Good food. Our server Isaac was awesome. He went out of his way to put the water on the robot instead of our table so my kids could see the robot in action.
May 31, 2025 · Kevin LeongThe food was good, but not very many rolls came down the conveyer unless you special order them. Most items only had two plates, which ran out often before they got to our seat.Drink robot is cute. The wait on a Sunday afternoon was longer than expected, but a pleasant day to stand outside and chat with your date.I'll almost certainly come again and Order stuff directly from the touchscreen menu to ensure we can try the items that catch our eyes.
