Kyuramen x TBaar- Alpharetta Reviews
I had an incredible experience at Kyuramen! The interior is absolutely beautiful, and the seating is so cool. The workers were very helpful and attentive as well. I tried the pork tonkatsu omurice combo, which was amazing. The omelette was cooked perfectly and paired amazingly with the crispy pork. It also came with a creamy Thai yea. I highly recommend checking this place out and will definitely be coming back to try the ramen!
Mar 22, 2025 · Jonathan LeeWe had a wonderful dining experience at this charming restaurant! The authentic Japanese decor and varied seating options created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The vegetarian Ramen was exceptionally fresh and flavorful. Our only suggestion would be to expand the vegetarian options, which would make it easier for us to order a variety of dishes when we visit as a family. Looking forward to returning!
Mar 24, 2025 · vinay rajaI’ve visited this location a couple times since its opening when they offered ema for drawings which is great back then. My visits to both the Alpharetta and Sandy Springs locations had always been positive until this time.My party ordered tonkatsu omurice and curry tonkatsu ramen today, but was served chicken karage instead of tonkatsu (pork) for both orders. When we politely raised the issue, the server first insisted the chicken served was tonkatsu. After we indicated that we could tell the difference between chicken and pork. We were then told that tonkatsu was not being offered at this location in a very condescending manner as if we were supposed to accept whatever they bring to the table.Neither were we informed when we made our order nor was there a disclaimer on the menu that indicates this. Besides, I was offered tonkatsu last time when I came in. The refusal to acknowledge the mistake or apologize compounded our frustration along with the arrogant server. The combination of incorrect orders, misleading responses, poor service, and lack of accountability has eroded my trust. While I once enthusiastically recommended this restaurant to friends, I now will recommend everyone not to come here.
May 07, 2025 · Dr. BoomBoomThis is our new fav spot for ramen in the Alpharetta area! We’ve always had Jinya as our #1, however, Kyuramen is now top! The actually restaurant itself is impeccably clean and so pretty inside! The design is perfect for a ramen place. The service is 10/10 as well, we were super impressed with the servers!I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen and it was 100/10! I got the hot spice level and it was perfect. Wasn’t too spicy to eat, and was loaded with flavor. The noodles are incredible!! They were seasoned and had a buttery texture. They really held the ramen broth flavor! We got the omurice with pork tonkotsu as an app. It was super delicious as well and a really big portion!! They have a huge tea list as well. The Thai tea was insanely good! We had an amazing experience here and the quality of this ramen was super impressive. This is def our new go to! Highly recommend.
Jan 05, 2025 · Brittany HilleyTried out Kyuramen x TBaar, a relatively new ramen spot, in Alpharetta today!Food:Drinks - I got the Thai Iced Tea and my boyfriend got the Taro Milk Tea. I love Thai Tea and thought that the tea here was great! It was very sweet but I loved it. I also normally don't like Taro but I tried my boyfriend's drink and to my surprise I really liked it! He got it with light ice and less sugar and I think maybe that helped a bit with the flavor for me personally (I think usually it is too sweet for me).Appetizers - For our appetizers we got the Chilled Tofu and Pan Fried Gyoza. It was probably just personal preference, but my boyfriend and I were not a big fan of the Chilled Tofu (mostly a texture thing). I normally love tofu, but I think the extremely soft texture on top of the cold temperature was a miss for me. However, the sauce that the tofu was covered in was delicious. The Pan Fried Gyoza was very tasty! I really enjoyed the presentation of it as well. I remember thinking that it was a quesadilla at first when they brought it out LOL. The flavor was great though!Entrées - For my main dish, I got the Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen (spicy) and my boyfriend got the Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu with black garlic. The ramen was okay- I was not the biggest fan of my ramen but I didn't dislike it either. I liked my boyfriend's dish more than mine, but not by a lot more. I think I was expecting more flavor in my ramen since it was supposed to be spicy (comparing the flavor to places like Kin No Tori, Jinya, etc.). The regular spice level was nice but I wonder if I should have gotten it spicier. I really liked the egg and seaweed in my ramen but was a little disappointed with the amount of pork included in my bowl.Dessert: For dessert, we ordered the Matcha Tiramisu. I am not sure how I felt about it. There wasn't much flavor but I didn't hate it either. Couldn't say I liked it though haha. Probably wouldn't get it again.Service: Our experience service-wise was wonderful. The restaurant was empty for the most part and for most of our meal I'm pretty sure we were the only customers in the restaurant so we got a lot of attention. They also have a call button on the wall next to each table so that you can call a server over as needed and we didn't really need to use it since our server was extremely attentive. Everyone was also very kind! I know that this place is relatively new, so I hope as they get more customers the service stays great!Atmosphere: Extremely adorable interior. There are tables stacked on top of one another and we got to sit at one of the highest ones which I loved. The inside is also decorated very well and sets a great aura. The music was a little loud and was a mix of pop hits from like 2012 to 2017 which I thought was a little silly, but it was fun. Something cool that they do is that if you order ramen and eat to the bottom of the bowl, there is a chance that the bottom of your bowl will have a word like "entrée", "dessert", "drink", etc.. and you can get a free item off of the menu next time you visit if you get one of those words at the bottom of your bowl. My boyfriend got "dessert" at the bottom of his! I'm thinking that they're doing this since they're pretty new, so not sure how long this will last, but it was a cute little touch.TLDR: Cute place with plenty of space! Food is just okay, wasn't a fan of our dessert. Service is wonderful!
