Kyuramen x TBaar - Philadelphia Reviews
Tasty food, amazing service, and pleasant atmosphere. All in one place. A great friend of mine wanted to check out this newly opened ramen spot a few minutes walk from city hall, so we went together to see what it was about. Now I'm hooked, and I can't stop trying out their different flavors of ramen. If you like Japanese food, you'll love this place. If you haven't tried, this is the place to start. If you don't like Japanese, this place will change your mind. I plan on going back and trying every one of their fruit teas as well. 10/10 Highly recommend.
May 02, 2025 · Barry LuOverall, pretty good. We ordered three orders of ramen, all of which were good. I ordered the pork boa buns (amazing!, but one came with wayyy too much fat, I asked the waitress after and she said if it happened again to tell them and they will replace it. Also, as good as it was it needs more ingredients than just a slice of pork [which was the star of the show and a little more than one small slice definitely wouldn't hurt], lettuce, sauce and the bread [which is super soft], it needs something that adds a nice crunch like the lettuce does but more so), chicken boa buns (fine), tempura with sweet chili dipping sauce (very good), gyoza dumplings (good but not great), beef skewer (my partner liked it but it wasn't for me), garlic chili edamame (surprisingly good, even my girlfriend who doesn't like edamame liked the glaze), popcorn chicken (Terrible! I even heard other people complaining about it, it was WAY TOO SALTY, undercooked, and had no real flavor, plus it looks unappealing) although to their credit when we told them this they gave us matcha pudding for free(although matcha tastes like grass to me haha, but the texture was good so if you like matcha, try it), mango smoothie(Me and my partner love mangos, and this was very yummy), yakotaki octopus balls ( first time trying this, I thought it was too mushy, nobody finished it), crispy sweet chili wings (they look amazing, and the outside had a really really nice flavor, but the inside not as much, it's almost like the quality of the chicken was low or there was too much flour underneath the glaze when they fried it, which made eating the skin amazing but the actual meat, like any other chicken fast food place), and the cherry blossom jelly which comes with a syrup but it's basically an almost unflavored gelatin sphere in a small bowl with the tapioca pearls from bubble tea (decent, tastes like watered down strawberries/cherries, the consistency of the gelatin is good since it's literally Jell-O, but the tapioca pearls were a little two hard, definitely tasted a little better/sweeter with the syrup)
May 21, 2025 · Theodore GurrolaA relaxing place where anyone can order ramen and receive some good drinks and desserts. The customer service was amazing, and I even followed their recommendation of trying the Matcha Tiramisu. It was very delicious 😋 For the ramen, there's even a cool game that If you make it to the bowel's base and see a "free" red stamp, you can get a gift card. I'm definitely going to see if I can come back with a group of friends! Please give Kyuramen X TBaar a chance.(PS: I forgot to take pictures of my ramen and other food that I ordered to go 😂)
May 25, 2025 · Antaneyah JohnsonTried the 2-person combo at Kyuramen x TBaar. The ramen was okay~ not amazing for the price. Popcorn chicken was a bit salty, but the desserts were great, especially the matcha one! The place was busy, but staff were attentive. Loved the cute interior and cozy booths. Nice location near Chinatown Philly.…/_/( •⤙• )ଘ(🍜٩ )੭
