5 Stars – A Hidden Gem for AYCE SushiWe stumbled upon Matsuno Sushi after spotting their sign while driving by. Curious about this new all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi spot, we tried to look them up online but found nothing — which only made us more intrigued. So we decided to check it out ourselves for a late lunch.The sushi was fresh and well-prepared, definitely one of the best AYCE options in the area. We wouldn’t say it’s the best sushi overall, but for AYCE, it might just take the top spot locally. There’s another AYCE place nearby that could have been a contender — but they serve sushi with hot rice, which totally threw us off and ruined the experience. Matsuno, thankfully, gets it right.We stick with traditional sushi and sashimi (not fans of overly sauced or gimmicky rolls), and everything we had at Matsuno was clean, simple, and didn’t rely on aiolis or sweet sauces to hide the fish quality. It tasted how good sushi should taste.Ordering was easy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The AYCE included just about everything on the menu — even hot dishes. We sampled a few, and they were cooked and seasoned well. The hibachi chicken we got for our toddler was actually very good — not just a throwaway kid option.The decor is simple — no bells and whistles, but that’s not what we came for. We came for quality, and they delivered.A few quick notes:They just opened a week ago, and are currently offering a 20% off grand opening special.Drinks are not included.Pro tip: The menu shows sushi as “2 pieces” and sashimi as “3 pieces,” but we only got one of each item at first. Once we pointed it out, they quickly brought out the rest. Just be clear about how many pieces you want.We’ll definitely be back. In search of a Sushi spot close to home we spotted this restaurant after enjoying breakfast nearby at the Paris Baguette. Upon entering the restaurant you notice it’s bright and vivid colors are very welcoming. you are immediately greeted by the friendly staff who seat you and start with attentive service right from the get-go. You can see the menu online offering a variety of sushi and sashimi as well as hibachi dishes for you to try. Alex and Jay our servers helped make a great first impression both providing exceptional service and helping us better understand the variety of rolls. Their recommendations proved to help us enjoy some incredible and delicious sashimi dishes. We tried a few rolls...Sweet Eighteen Black Dragon and Tuna Lover plus several impressive pieces of sashimi. We discovered during our visit that the Noodle House still exists on the same footprint with the restaurant offering both the Chinese noodle menu as well as the new sushi and sashimi offerings. We will definitely keep this as a GoTo spot for our cravings for their menu items from appetizers to mains to dessert.

We had a great experience at this sushi spot. The sushi was very good, especially considering the affordable prices. The fish was fresh, and the salmon in particular stood out—it was buttery and delicious.The only downside was the restaurant’s exterior and the initial smell when we walked in, which was a little off-putting. Fortunately, the food more than made up for that. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for quality sushi without breaking the bank.
