Mensho Ramen Reviews
Solid spot with top-tier service but one big letdownWe came on a bartender’s recommendation and were greeted with great vibes, flawless service, and the kind of meal presentation that made us feel like judges on an Iron Chef episode. Super cool and very well done.But... Most of their ramen uses the same chicken broth just dressed up differently. Creamy, rich, and not quite what we expected. A little variety in broths would've gone a long way. Did notice a few veggie broths. That said, their OG house fire sauce is a total game changer. Boosted the flavor big time but also made the broth even thicker which was kind of a bummer. We’ll keep an eye on their menu hoping for more broth options down the road.
Apr 23, 2025 · Manny LopezHands down most delicious ramen in Arizona, albeit a little pricey. But it’s comprable to the ones I’ve had in Japan! Glad they were able to port the same quality over to AZ. The atmosphere inside the restaurant really takes me back to Japan.
May 27, 2025 · MiggyI was a little worried coming here about the price to food-size ratio, considering I saw that most people said it would be $30-50 per person. However, I the food is pretty good for what you pay for. The ramen noodles are so authentic, and they do not get soggy after being in the broth for awhile. The toppings were flavorful and complimented the broth well. If it weren’t so expensive, I would come here more often, but it is definitely more of a fancy night dinner place. The waiters are kind and quick, but the seating area felt crowded. The restaurant smelled amazing!
Mar 18, 2025 · Maddie CharlesI first tried Mensho in San Francisco, and this time in Arizona—both experiences were incredible! The food is consistently amazing, but the service here really stood out. The staff at the bar (the girl and guy, who I think are Japanese) were not only super friendly and professional but also really handsome 🤩🤩! I’ll definitely be back! If you come on a weekday around 4 PM, there’s no need to wait in line!
Dec 18, 2024 · Grace GeOur food was incredibly delicious. We ordered the Classic Toripaitan and Kurozu Karaage. We came from out of town, it was rainy, and we were so tired. They were closing soon, and they still decided to serve us. Jonathan was our server, he explained the menu in detail as well as our dishes. Very delicious. Very worthy of the Michelin star. Thank you. ありがとうございます
