Mio Sushi Introduce
Welcome to Mio Sushi, a well-regarded dining destination nestled in the heart of Tacoma, Washington. While the platform category "Doctor Near Me" typically brings to mind healthcare providers, we can creatively interpret its spirit to mean a highly accessible and beneficial local service – in this case, a restaurant that caters to your well-being through delicious and satisfying meals, much like a good doctor cares for your health. Mio Sushi aims to be that comforting and reliable spot for the community, offering a culinary experience that is both enjoyable and convenient. Located at 5051 Main St, Tacoma, WA 98407, Mio Sushi is easily reachable for those in the local area seeking a high-quality sushi experience.
Upon entering Mio Sushi, guests will find an environment that aims to be comfortable and accommodating. Based on customer feedback, the atmosphere is generally considered "ok," suggesting a functional and pleasant, rather than overtly luxurious, setting. The focus here is clearly on the food and the dining experience itself. The decor is designed to be inviting, providing a clean and organized space for patrons to enjoy their meals. It's the kind of place where you can feel at ease, whether you're dining alone, with family, or with friends. While specific details about the interior design are not extensively detailed, the overall impression is one of a casual yet dedicated sushi establishment, prioritizing a relaxed dining atmosphere where the food takes center stage.
The service at Mio Sushi is a point of noteworthy discussion, as it receives varied but generally positive feedback. One customer enthusiastically praised the "Great sushi and service!", indicating a positive and efficient experience. This aligns with another review mentioning that "Food came quickly, no waiting," which is a significant plus for diners who appreciate prompt service, especially during busy times. However, it's important to address a specific concern raised by a customer regarding connectivity. This individual expressed "biggest frustration was the service and literally the cell service." They noted a lack of customer Wi-Fi and poor cell reception within the restaurant, which led to an inconvenience. While the restaurant did offer a landline for emergencies, this highlights a potential area for improvement in enhancing the overall customer experience, especially in an era where digital connectivity is often expected. Despite this, the general consensus on staff attentiveness and speed of food delivery remains positive, suggesting a dedicated front-of-house team striving to provide a smooth dining experience.
The culinary features of Mio Sushi are undoubtedly its strongest suit. The core offering, as the name suggests, is sushi, and it consistently garners positive reviews. Customers frequently highlight the quality and taste of the sushi. One enthusiastic diner proclaimed, "Great sushi," emphasizing the satisfaction derived from the menu. Another customer specifically raved about the "Spider roll," designating it as their "favorite." This indicates a commitment to crafting delicious and well-prepared sushi rolls, showcasing a diverse menu that caters to different preferences. Beyond sushi, Mio Sushi also offers a standout dish that has received exceptional praise: the poke salad. One reviewer emphatically stated, "the poke salad was AMAZING," suggesting that this dish is a must-try for any visitor. This demonstrates that Mio Sushi offers more than just traditional sushi; they have other well-executed dishes that contribute significantly to the overall dining experience. The emphasis on fresh ingredients and skilled preparation appears to be a hallmark of their kitchen, ensuring a high-quality culinary output that brings customers back.

Mio Sushi Reviews
Sushi was ok, the poke salad was AMAZING…the environment was ok… my biggest frustration was the service and literally the cell service. Our babysitter kept trying to call and the call kept failing so I asked for the wifi and they said “we don’t have wifi for customers and this is a dead zone for phone service. If it’s an emergency you can use our landline” (they have wifi for the restaurant though)…like if you KNOW there’s no service, get wifi for your customers. We had to cut our dinner early because we were so worried about not being able to be in touch with our babysitter!
Jul 18, 2023 · Bobbi DeAndaGreat sushi and service! Took my daughter for her birthday dinner. Definitely coming back. Much better than Trappers. Food came quickly, no waiting. Spider roll was my favorite.
Aug 20, 2018 · Michael WilliamsWas looking for something to have after watching a movie at the theater and found this place! They give A LOT OF RICE with the Chirashi bowl and I found the fish quality not as good as a lot of the other places in the area -- it was slightly tougher and stringier. The variety of fish also wasn't as much as other places I've been to, especially for the price which was a lot higher than most places. I would not order this again. They have specials and I got to try the chicken katsu dinner as well. It was good but nothing too special.Overall I would probably go elsewhere for sushi/dinner, but don't think I could go wrong if I got a bento or a kitchen entree.

Aug 11, 2023 · Isaiah “The253ViBe” MorganI hate to post negative comments, but I hate posting inaccurate opinions more. The food was very greasy and oily. My wife and I were both feeling nauseous for the rest of the day and throughout the night afterwards. The staff was nice, though, but I can't recommend the food. The gyoza almost burst with oil when I bit into them, and the yakisoba noodles were oily, too.
