Food is overpriced for the quality. Broth was terrible, tasteless and it’s basically just pre-packaged chemicals. All the vegetables are one piece of carrot, a little bit noodles, broccoli, kale with enormous cheap napa underneath…service was good tho. Prob won’t return but good to try once.The owner replied. My comment to the owner's response is: I have had a lot of great experiences in different restaurants around SD and I usually share with friends or social media. However, people who is not my friends deserve to know the bad experiences when they decide to try new places instead of just trust all those good reviews. About the broth that you claimed are fresh ingredients, I am really curious what are they besides water, a few slice of mushroom, and some diced green onion. I did not need to justify myself to you at all, but I spent this time to write this comment to make sure people would choose somewhere better deserve their money than this place before you improving your business.

We liked the individual soup pot so that everyone can get what they want and the spicy level.On a Friday lunch, it was not so crowded. The 3 of us ordered the beef sampler and the lunch special. A plate of veggies for each person also came with the order.The cost is about $30-50 per person if one doesn’t order the lunch special( only for Mondays to Fridays).

We came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and everyone absolutely loved it! I ordered the spicy pork broth and marinated flat iron — both were incredibly flavorful. They also serve yakitori, and my favorites were the chicken skin, beef skirt, and pork cheek. The service was fantastic, and all the staff looked so happy — it really added to the great vibe. We’re already planning to come back next week, and I can’t wait!
