Mt. Fuji Reviews
Amazing food! Kind owners! We ordered the wontons, gyoza, chicken katsu bento, yaki soba with chicken, & Thai tea — everything was sooooo good!!! It came with salad, miso soup, some sushi, etc. which were also great. Our food came out super quickly and the woman who served us was so kind and wonderful. The owners were taking their own lunch break after we finished up and they were so cute and kind. It was a great time! And the ambiance is top notch! I cannot recommend this place enough — starring it on Google right now, we will be back next time we’re in town 😊💙
Jan 26, 2025 · Julie KuperI am really bad about taking the time to leave reviews but seeing how slow the restaurant was tonight made me sad. My wife and I have been going to Mt Fuji for 7 years now and have yet to have a bad experience. The owners have always taken exceptional care of us even from day one and continues to welcome us everytime we come in. All the comments about the rice being “bland” I just don’t understand as shown in the pictures below it’s clearly seasoned. The sushi is always fresh and delicious, tako (octopus) is my personal favorite with tuna being a close second. The sesame chicken is by far the best in town, thin and crispy and just delicious with a generous portion. I’m a large guy my self and I never leave hungry when ordering dynamite udon or the sesame chicken. Fat guy approved 100%
Jun 04, 2024 · LateNight NecctoMy celiac boyfriend and I ate here today which we have done previously with no issues. We asked for all our rolls to be made gluten free as usual. When one of them came out, there was soy sauce on the plate and seaweed salad covering the top of the roll. Any time we’ve ordered this before, it came without seaweed as that also contains soy sauce. We asked the waitress to confirm it was gluten free, she said yes and that she had already checked with the chef, but would check again. She came back and told us “yeah sorry, the sauce is not gluten free, but the roll is”. When I questioned her about the seaweed she said it has “just a little bit” of soy sauce (so not gluten free at all?) We told her he has celiac and will now get very ill, as he had already eaten a piece before we realized. She casually apologized while smiling/laughing but did not seem to care at all. Still had us pay for our meal. On a previous visit we were given a dirty (empty) plate from another table, which the waitress profusely apologized for and offered us multiple forms of compensation. They took a dirty plate much more seriously than poisoning a customer. We used to enjoy this place, but will not be returning or recommending. Especially for those with food allergies or restrictions.
Mar 29, 2025 · Heather GuayI treated my husband to a birthday dinner at Mt. Fuji last night. We shared the Sushi boat for two. The fish was so fresh and sushi beautifully prepared. Our server Michelle is very personable and fun, provided excellent service, making for a memorable evening. It has been awhile since we have dined there. Our excellent experience is a reminder that we must return soon. We love that the restaurant is family owned. They even provided complimentary fried bananas to celebrate our occasion. Thank you Michelle and chefs for a lovely evening!
Dec 03, 2024 · Lucinda VanI wish I knew about this place sooner! My boyfriend and I are obsessed. The food is actually delicious, best miso soup in town. And the people are so kind. Can’t beat a $12 bento box for lunch
