MV Snacks and Sushi Reviews
Not authentic Mexican sushi if that's what you're going for. My sister and I saw this hyped up on Instagram by a creator so decided to give it a try we sat down nobody ever came to assist we then noticed you had to go up to the counter and ask for the menu yourself and order and pay before even trying the food. We ordered tostilocos to start off with and they were disgusting no chamoy no clamato we told the girl at the counter why they were dry she said she forgot to add the chamoy and took back our plate. There was also one random jalapeño and the cueritos tasted expired. The sushi was a 4/10 we did not finish it and left it there. The presentation was there just not the taste. The agua de horchata tasted horrible too not authentic at all. First and LAST time we ever come. Do not recommend at all.
August 13 · VanessaFirst time I came and I fell in love with this place! The videos it gave me! The decor! I was well welcomed and that’s always a win!I ordered the Vaquero!! Made my sushi to order and it was just perfect! El sabor was just all there! Will definitely come back again and spread the word about this place!
January 22 · Julia EscalanteThis is not your normal sushi (which most people try to compare it to) It’s Mexican sushi and it was delicious! The service was OK, nothing out of this world. The food was delicious and fresh.
June 24 · Mylena HuertaI wanted sushi and came because of the reviews. Sadly disappointed.. I stuck with a Cali roll because I knew it wasn't going to be what I was use to. Huge portion which was nice, but nowhere on the menu did it say it was a friend Cali roll.. I hate those! So I opened them and ate the middle, it was pretty good. I don't know why they make carne asada nachos and fries but not tacos.. so I ordered the nachos. It was good at first and then got really peppery, so I couldn't eat anymore. It was very mediocre.. won't come back. Service was a decent pace and staff was very nice.
May 12 · Cena FelterThis place seems to have some cool ideas. Tried the Vaquero roll and the Aloha roll. I'd say go with the Vaquero. The flavors for both were sort of meh I felt. Not bad, but not exciting. The ideas behind the rolls and flavors involved were really exciting, but I just felt like there was something missing flavor wise although I can't put my finger on what it would be. MV has so many other options, I would love to try more still regardless of how I felt about these rolls. The inside was very clean and a nice little spot. The food was also extremely fresh tasting, which was awesome. If you want to try something new (well it was new for me), give them a chance. I'll be heading back to try some of the seafood options, as they look amazing.
