Nagasaki Inn Reviews
I went for the first time with my family last night. Both the service and food were AWESOME.We arrived when the restaurant first opened at 5pm on a weekday, and got a hibachi table immediately with some of the other guests. The staff were very nice, and the food tasted good. Our chef just absolutely *made* the experience. I grew up in Memphis, TN, and I can’t believe that I’m only learning about this place now. We enjoyed everything, and we definitely plan to return 👍🏻Footnote: we tried the egg rolls as an appetizer, and they were a pleasant surprise for us. They’re sausage-meat based, and very tasty; my family liked the sauce that goes with them.Overall, just a good experience!
May 13, 2025 · Joel RevaleeI haven’t been here in years and it’s still as nostalgic as I remember. I was the first and only one in there and was seated the back immediately at a hibachi table. What looked like the owner or manager quickly brought me water.I decided to start with 2 sushi rollsSalmon skin rollKamkaziI rollBoth were really tasty. And tasted fresh.I got the hibachi chicken and steak and babyyy those sauces that came with them. 🔥🔥🔥Everything was so good and the chef was so friendly. Since I was the only one at the table we had a great conversation.I actually forgot why I stopped coming here but this will def be my go to hibachi spot now.
Jun 14, 2024 · Breanna ThompsonThis place has literally been a staple in Memphis since I was a kid, 50 years and going strong.Food was excellent, reasonably priced and the bar was actually quite good. Enjoyed a wonderful Kirin with my meal! Some people might question the area it's located in, but trust me, this is a safe place and you'll be glad you went.
Oct 07, 2024 · Kip HatchBeen my favorite place ever since I was a kid. "magic Mike" is the best. I celebrated my birthday there tonight (as I have been for as long as I can remember) and it was a blast as always. the food was fantastic.
Feb 12, 2025 · Misty RutledgeI had a disappointing experience during my first visit to this restaurant. I placed a mobile order for two steak hibachi meals to go, but upon arrival, I was told that only one had been ordered. The older gentleman assisting us was extremely rude and dismissive, insisting that I was mistaken rather than offering a solution. It wasn’t until I looked at my husband in disbelief that he finally offered to make another one. However, due to the poor customer service we received, my husband and I decided to leave. Additionally, based on the tone and treatment we received, I strongly believe that our race played a factor in how we were treated. Unfortunately, this first impression was enough to ensure that we will not be returning.
