Nagasaki Japanese Restaurant is a good place for sushi dishes. They have plenty of seating, so you can get a table almost any time of day. We tried four different sushi rolls, and each was very flavorful along with put together well. The prices were very reasonable. The only knock was it took quite a while to get our food.

Food was okay. Portions were small compared to Fujiyama in rivercity. Shrimp sauce is a little bit different as well as the clear soup not sure what's off with it but not as good as other places. Service and restaurant were great but definitely not up to par to other hibachi steak houses. Will definitely go elsewhere before here. First picture is from Nagasaki and is the steak and chicken dinner size 28 bucks in a small black to go container. The second picture is the same order same price from Fujiyama for comparison in multiple boxes.

We went here for my daughter's 11th birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered 8 different rolls, and EVEYTHING WAS SOOOOO GOOD! Literally, everything we ate was perfectly made. The sushi quality was superb. Our waiter, Kyle, was excellent. He even walked our 86 year old great grandmom to a sushi roll that she loved and devoured! I found this place because the sushi place we originally planned to visit was closed. I'm so glad they were. This place is a gem and is worth the extra drive. Also, it was a hit with 4 generations of women! That's a miracle in itself. Lol!

Soup:For those familiar with the restaurants of Fuji yama and Kan Ki, then you're familiar with the serving of clear soup, yes?Now, while there are other soups in these restaurants, mom and I normally order the clear soup.So imagine my surprise when we get a clear soup, but it's not. Now, by the sound of this, you would think, I'm upset, when in truth, I was more curious, Than disappointed.See, their clear soup comes with shavings or shreds of what mom thought was dumplings. Anyway, thing is, the soup was very delicious, and a very pleasant surprise.Food.Mom got the chicken and rice, with crab ragumes and shrimp sauce.The presentation was adorable.While I -being a steak lover, order the steak and rice. No vegetables.The meals were excellent.And to top it all off, I got another pleasant surprise.Now, I'm not one to try new things, at least not often, so imagine my surprise when I get the ginger steak sauce.. Say what?!The result was this... It was so darn delicious!!See, it has been years since I had any ginger at a Japanese restaurant. The last restaurant to have it was Fuji yama, but they took it off 🙀.So to find out that this restaurant has the ginger that I remember from that time, if not the time of Kan Ki, was very pleasing and a sweet treat.All in all, their food was delicious. The service was good. The outfits were beautiful. The restaurant was just perfect.I don't know about mom, but I sure as heck enjoyed myself.So, if you're ever in the neighborhood, do stop on by and try them out. You'll be glad you did.I hope.Thanks for reading later.Ps. Mom's chicken was yummy, especially with the ginger.

Great little place to order eat and go, they don't cook in front of u so ur not there as long. I Typically get the shrimp and steak hibachi w/veggie n rice and keep the noodles.However;I rated them a little less because they won't substitute I would rather have double vegetables than the noodles and rice(noodles and rice, too much starch for me)and they do not substitute. The veggies I love are really good fresh and sauteed. 🥣🥗🥩 🍤 🍜 I didn't care for the tempura box🍱
