Nami Sushi Introduce
For individuals utilizing online platforms such as "Doctor Near Me" to locate essential services in their vicinity, the search often naturally extends to include convenient and satisfying dining options. After a medical appointment, during a busy day of errands, or simply when seeking a reliable local eatery, the accessibility and quality of restaurants become significant considerations. In this context, Nami Sushi in Federal Way, WA, presents itself as a Japanese restaurant offering a range of sushi and other Japanese fare, potentially catering to the culinary needs of those in the area.
Nami Sushi is located at 31260 Pacific Hwy S Suite 12, Federal Way, WA 98003, USA. This address suggests its placement within a commercial complex or strip mall along a major highway, indicating relative ease of access for both local residents and individuals visiting Federal Way for various purposes, including professional or medical appointments. Its presence within such a hub implies it aims to serve a diverse customer base seeking convenient dining options. For inquiries or to place an order, Nami Sushi can be contacted at (253) 941-0888 or via mobile phone at +1 253-941-0888, offering direct communication channels for potential patrons.
The environment at Nami Sushi is described positively, with terms such as "very clean, well decorated and inviting." This suggests a pleasant and aesthetically pleasing dining space that contributes to an enjoyable meal. The ambiance appears to be designed to be welcoming, fostering a comfortable setting for diners. While one customer noted it was "a bit drafty," this is a minor point that doesn't detract significantly from the overall positive description of the decor and cleanliness. A well-maintained and inviting environment is often a key factor for individuals choosing a dining spot, particularly after an appointment where comfort and a relaxed atmosphere might be desired.
In terms of services, Nami Sushi is noted for its polite and attentive staff. Customers found "Everyone was very polite and attentive," indicating a good level of customer care. However, one review mentioned that "Service was a little slow but it was busy and only two servers on so I'd give them a break." This suggests that while the staff are dedicated and courteous, service speed can be impacted during peak hours due to staffing levels. The provision of "Hot tea and solid miso soup before the meal" as a "delicious and a great bonus" highlights an additional service amenity that enhances the dining experience. The "guys behind the counter really know what they are doing" concerning sushi preparation, suggesting expertise in the culinary service. The overall service seems to be characterized by politeness and a focus on quality, with occasional delays during busy periods.
The features of Nami Sushi's menu primarily revolve around its sushi and other Japanese dishes. The "Chirashi bowl" received high praise, with "portions and quality above and beyond even really good Seattle spots." This indicates a strong offering in terms of both quantity and premium ingredients for this dish. The "presentation was gorgeous," highlighting attention to detail in plating. The inclusion of "a good portion of Wasabi, ginger and lemon" also shows thoughtful consideration for the diner's experience. The "Chicken Kiragi was solid," though one reviewer had "had better," suggesting it's a decent but not necessarily standout item. The "pickled radish it came with" was a liked accompaniment. However, a significant point of concern arises with the "shrimp tempura roll." A customer reported the "shrimp tempura was cold" and "greasy," with "moist" batter, suggesting it was not "deep fry fresh to order." This inconsistency in freshness and temperature for a specific dish, especially at a higher price point ($25 for eight pieces), is a critical feature to consider.
Promotional information is not explicitly detailed in the provided customer reviews. However, the positive remarks about the "Chirashi bowl" being "top notch" and its quality surpassing "even really good Seattle spots" act as strong organic promotion. The value derived from "great portions" and the "gorgeous" presentation also serve as implicit promotional points, encouraging diners who prioritize these aspects. Conversely, the negative feedback regarding the cold and unappetizing shrimp tempura, and the frustration over its pricing, could deter potential customers and impacts the overall promotional message by highlighting inconsistencies. Without specific deals or marketing campaigns mentioned, the restaurant's reputation relies heavily on the varied experiences of its patrons.
To provide an objective introduction, it is essential to present both the highly positive and the critical aspects of the customer feedback. Nami Sushi appears to excel in its Chirashi bowl, delivering exceptional quality and presentation, which positions it as a strong contender for raw fish dishes. The overall ambiance is inviting, and the staff are generally polite and attentive. However, the significant inconsistency in the quality of cooked items, particularly the shrimp tempura, is a serious concern. The frustration expressed about paying a premium price for a cold, pre-cooked item is a valid point of criticism that prospective diners should be aware of. This variability suggests that while some dishes are "top notch," others may lead to an "expensive disappointment," impacting the restaurant's reliability for consistent quality across its menu.
In conclusion, Nami Sushi in Federal Way, WA, offers a mixed yet promising dining experience for users of "Doctor Near Me" seeking local Japanese cuisine. Its clean, well-decorated, and inviting environment provides a pleasant backdrop for a meal. The service is characterized by polite and attentive staff, though it can be slow during busy periods. While the Chirashi bowl is a standout, offering excellent quality and presentation that rivals even higher-end Seattle establishments, there are notable inconsistencies, particularly with cooked items like the shrimp tempura, which has been described as cold and unappetizing despite its premium price. For those in the Federal Way area considering Nami Sushi, it offers the potential for a truly exceptional raw fish dish experience, but diners should be mindful of the reported variability in the quality of other menu items, perhaps focusing on the acclaimed Chirashi bowl for the best experience.

Nami Sushi Reviews
Top notch sushi spot! I've been twice now and it certainly won't be the last time! Had the Chirashi bowl this time and the portions and quality were above and beyond even really good Seattle spots I've been to. The guys behind the counter really know what they are doing and the presentation was gorgeous. I also appreciated that it came with a good portion of Wasabi, ginger and lemon. Hot tea and solid miso soup before the meal were delicious and a great bonus, especially because it was a bit drafty in the restaurant. Chicken Kiragi was solid but ive had better, i loved the pickled radish it came with. Service was a little slow but it was busy and only two servers on so I'd give them a break. Place was very clean, well decorated and inviting. Everyone was very polite and attentive. Can't wait to go back!
Apr 27, 2025 路 Natalee HoltIt was okay. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll. The shrimp tempura was cold. I hate it when sushi places that charge $25 for a little eight pieces of sushi Don't deep fry there shrimp tempura fresh to order. I get it and it's greasy and the tempura batter is just moist and it's literally not even room temperature it's kind of cold as if they pulled it out of the refrigerator and let it sit on the table for 30 minutes. It's just frustrating because food is getting more and more expensive. When you're charging $25 for a sushi roll. Make it ready to order. That's how you'll get repeat customers. I won't go back.
