Niku Sushi in Anaheim boasts several notable features that enhance the dining experience for its patrons in California:
- All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) Value: Priced at $38.99/pp for AYCE (as of early 2025 review), it offers substantial value compared to a la carte ordering, especially for those with a big appetite or who wish to sample many different items. This competitive pricing is a significant draw in the local market.
- Extensive Menu Variety for AYCE: Beyond just sushi, their AYCE menu includes appetizers, hot dishes, and ramen, providing a comprehensive Japanese dining experience. This broad selection ensures there's something for everyone in a group.
- "Best AYCE Sushi in Anaheim" (Customer Claim): One customer explicitly states it's the "best AYCE sushi in Anaheim," indicating a strong positive perception among local diners.
- Highly Praised Beef Ramen: The beef ramen is a standout item, with a customer declaring, "I would come back just for that," suggesting it's a must-try dish.
- Bigger Than Usual Nigiri Servings: This detail is a significant plus for sushi enthusiasts, as it provides more fish per piece compared to standard nigiri sizes at other establishments.
- Free Parking Lot: The availability of a dedicated parking lot without valet service is a huge convenience and a rare find in many busy dining areas, making visits hassle-free.
- Easy PWD (Persons With Disabilities) Access: The restaurant is designed to be easily accessible for individuals with disabilities, demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity.
- Ample Seating (Outdoor and Indoor): With "lots of outdoor and indoor seating," Niku Sushi can accommodate various preferences and group sizes, contributing to a comfortable dining experience.

Niku Sushi is primarily known for its All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) offering, which in itself functions as a significant value promotion, allowing customers to enjoy a wide array of dishes for a fixed price.
Specific AYCE pricing structures identified from public information include:
- Lunch AYCE: Approximately $20.95 - $29.99 (for sushi only or sushi and Korean BBQ, if offered in a combo) during weekday lunch hours (e.g., 11 AM – 3 PM, Mon-Fri).
- Dinner AYCE: Approximately $30.95 - $38.99+ (for sushi only or sushi and Korean BBQ, if offered in a combo) during dinner hours (e.g., Mon-Thurs 4 PM–9:30 PM, Fri 3 PM–10:30 PM, Sat & Sun all day).
- Sashimi AYCE: Some promotional offerings have included a "sashimi AYCE" at a higher price point (e.g., $40.98 or $55 for a huge sashimi bowl with free AYCE).
It's important for local users in California to note that AYCE rules often include time limits (e.g., 90 minutes to 2 hours) and policies regarding uneaten food to reduce waste. While specific "Happy Hour" menu items were found, they appeared to be part of the general menu rather than a separate time-limited happy hour. For the most current and exact pricing, terms, and any additional limited-time promotions, it is highly recommended to visit Niku Sushi's official website or inquire directly at the restaurant. Customers should always verify the latest AYCE pricing and rules upon arrival.

Niku Sushi Reviews
A 3.5/5 experience that is closer to 3/5:Quality: The sushi quality was decent but inconsistent, and the other dishes were a bit more inconsistent, like the baked mussels, shrimp, and a few other speciality rolls.Price/Value: At $38.99/pp for AYCE, it’s $1 under the competition for 2025 AYCE prices - some places even have “premium” add-ons to make $45-58+Vibe/Atmosphere: Nice-ish, although we were sat on a window seat overlooking the sidewalk that had a bright light from outside shining in and also we could smell cigarette smoke from the outside. Overall it’s a little complex that is not busy at night near Downtown Anaheim, so there is plenty of parkingService: Decent but also a bit hurried and rude. They emphasized about the AYCE rules and took out a few from our first round order due to limits on the first round, which we found odd since it was peak dinner time and the restaurant was not very busy/fullReturnability: We have been wanting more AYCE places in central OC, but we may opt to go back to other ones nearby (Tustin, Cerritos) next time

May 10, 2025 · Don Frasco"I love this place! Excellent sushi—absolutely delicious. I 100% recommend it. Great service, amazing taste, reasonable prices—everything was perfect. Plus, it's pet-friendly, which is a big bonus!"
Apr 13, 2025 · Ingrid RodriguezWe were looking for a place to find a place to eat after graduation ceremonies and were very fortunate to find this place. It was a mid-size party of 20, but they were very accommodating. Even when we went back and forth a few times on the reservation time. Menu had a great variety of the old standards, but also had unique items that we had to try. Food was good and fresh and everyone left fat and happy. But service was the best part. Servers were always available and constantly checking in on us. Glad we found this place and we will be going back.
May 23, 2025 · Rich ParagasThe other day I was at Disneyland with my wife when we decided to look for some sushi in the area. We went on yelp and found Niku Sushi about 10 minutes away. Wow this has to be some of the best AYCE sushi spot we’ve been to in a long time. The fish was very fresh and they had a lot of meals that were made from the kitchen. Absolutely amazing. The service was unbelievable in the restaurant. Ambience was nice. It is such a huge restaurant. The fish was very fresh and tasty. We have found our go to spot next time We are in Anaheim.
