Nona Sushi Reviews
Came in after the lunch rush hour. Can say pretty disappointed in the quality of food and price of the food. Last two times we visited, been pretty much a bust. The rolls were decent, but the ngiri sushi was pretty bad. One they used way too much rice in the pieces. Felt like you could fill up on two-three pieces total. Basically the ratio of rice to fish was too much, so much I had to cut the rice in half, and even then it felt a lot.But rice is one thing and manageable. The fish was the worst and felt like they had it sitting out all day. It tasted slimy and way too much fishy smell ie the kind you get for letting it sit outside the fridge for too long and it's producing a musky smell to it.Unfortunately couldn't even finish half the plate (6 out of 12 pieces) before feeling nauseous. Left with a bill over $60.
Mar 27, 2025 · MichaelSince relocating to the state, I've been craving some delectable sushi. That changed when I was treated to lunch at a new spot. The menu was a sushi lover's dream, offering a wide array of specialty rolls and a lunch menu available Monday through Friday until 3pm, featuring Small Plates, Hibachi, Ramen, Soup and Salad, and Maki Rolls. My colleague and I couldn't resist ordering a bit of everything, so we decided to share four specialty rolls. Each roll was a work of art, with its own distinct flavors and presentation. We savored every bite, appreciating the unique taste of each roll. Four rolls turned out to be just the right amount for both of us.The experience was a delight from start to finish. Our server, Kaylee, provided exceptional service, embodying everything customer service should be. With satisfied appetites and smiles on our faces, we left as happy customers. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and look forward to returning soon.
Apr 28, 2024 · M L TThis one is hard because atmosphere is good, server to our table was good, but the food was so sub par!Pro:- atmosphere (1st impression of the inside is great)- menu is good- alcohol selection good- Xavier our server was good and tried hardCon:- food was lacking ( bad miso soup, bad cuts of tuna and salmon) tempura was unseasoned..- the staff outside our server were just hanging around melingering, on their phones. Just a super bad look for the atmosphere they are trying to project.- expensive- for a non land locked state I expected better quality fish.Their specialty sushi might appease a most western crowd. I like my sushi simple and let the quality determine the taste, not the condiments added.
Jul 03, 2024 · Brian “CoFii” AdamsWe were greeted swiftly upon entering. We had to wait some time because the establishment is very small but no problem. They took our name and number & texted us when ready. Our waitress was fantastic, so was the staff... we had an accident and they all were patient and helpful. The sushi was very good! I wish I had of known about this place sooner.Prices are reasonable for 4 of us it was $99 including tip.... for 3 drinks, 6 rolls, seaweed salad and fried dumplings. They have military discount. Serving sizes are decent, 2 people can share 1 roll.. I didn't care for the noodles (which they informed us would take 20-30 min to prepare, idk why) but they had a frozen taco taste but the sushi rolls were fresh and tasty.Would recommend & will return.
May 27, 2023 · Diamond CFood was pretty good, the sushi chefs are skilled and very nice. I was impressed with the sushi options, they have an awesome and large selection to choose from. Good atmosphere and can get pretty busy during dinner hours and on the weekend. Parking isn’t too bad.Cons: Very little selection for alcohol. Tight space, so it can feel crowded when the dinner/weekend rush starts.
