Excellent Korean and Japanese food! Service is excellent too. Cozy dining room but with plenty of space. My wife and I prefer the Korean dishes however they have a large selection of sushi rolls to choose from and some Japanese entrees that are very good as well. Tucked away in the corner of a smaller strip mall at Meadow Brook and Ten Mile Road this restaurant offers a variety of delicious food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Sat for 30 minutes waiting to be seated (they had empty tables). As soon as a group of 9 Koreans came in, they were immediately seated at the BBQ table. When the employee who had asked us to sit down to wait realized we still were waiting and the other group was seated, we were rushed to a table. I asked if the Korean BBQ was no longer available today (because again….they seated a new group and already had others seated at the grill tables) and was told yes it was, but that it was my fault I didn’t stop someone to remind them that we had still been waiting?!?! That’s odd. Didn’t know it was etiquette to stop staff and be obnoxious about waiting. When I tried to clarify the situation with the older employee, she was rude and began to swear in Korean. Jokes on her that I can actually speak and understand Korean. I left the restaurant now and let her continue to bark. So rude for the elderly to behave like such. O’Sushi ain’t all that and thankful there are other authentic Korean and Japanese restaurants around…but it’s obvious they’d prefer to seat their fellow Koreans on a bbq table (as that was who was seated) while anyone of different ethnicity can sit on a standard table.

RACIST. I’ve never been to an establishment where their prioritize their “own” kind of customers. Was told to sit in their waiting area for 30 minutes. No greeting, no how many people, nothing. Just sat while they continually walked passed us without acknowledgement. When a group of 9 people of “their” kind came in, they were immediately seated. Just because we don’t talk the native language or look like your “kind,” doesn’t give you the right to treat us like that. When we confronted the waitress that seated them, she acknowledged we should have told her we wanted bbq. In what world of hospitality do I physically go up to a waitress and tell her that I’m here. I wouldn’t be going back to this racist establishment.

Lets get in on this. Food was ok. Got the deep fried pork, sushi and Korean hot soup. Fried pork was good, basic with not a lot of “special sauce”. Sushi was ok, over packed with rice. Korean Hot soup broth was hella bland. The service, nah! Took a minute to order. Never brought the sake, slapped the food down and dipped. Never checked back in at which point we would have asked for our sake! Plentiful menu to try different things though. Decently priced and clean.

I have given them another try, but sadly I now have decided not to give them my business anymore. The first time we were here, the waitress even had the audacity to ask if we would leave the tip for her in cash or on our card. We still tipped, but not been back for at least a year, and she still works here!Now, for this second and last time, we went in a group. The waitress served us cups of hot tea and one of them still had the lip stains on - we let it go despite being uncomfortable knowing that they didn't properly wash the cups. When we looked over the bill, we were surprised with how an unexpected $29 tips was added into our total (at least 24% of our bill). We paid the meal with 15-18% tips since we weren't noticed of the tips being added ahead, and the waitress decided that it would be good to chase us to our car demanding the exact $29. We let her know repeatedly that it's illegal for her to ask for more tips because they are gratuity - and she left us on our way after not successful with "fighting for more tips".My advice is ALWAYS pay attention to whatever the bill told you to pay. They will try to add in such amount without letting you know ahead. And PLEASE READ ALL OF THE 1-STAR RATINGS!! They are the true experience with this place.
