Customer reviews offer a mixed perspective on Oak Tree Teriyaki. On the positive side, many patrons appreciate the quality and taste of the food, particularly the honey chicken and other teriyaki dishes, often describing them as consistently good and flavorful. The portion sizes are generally considered generous, offering good value for money. For those who prioritize a quick and hearty meal, Oak Tree Teriyaki often delivers.
However, some reviews point to challenges that potential diners should be aware of. There have been instances where communication issues arose due to language barriers, with some customers reporting difficulty conveying their orders or requests to staff who may not speak fluent English. This has led to frustration for some, particularly when attempting to resolve issues like food temperature or specific requests. For example, one customer recounted an experience where they were refused ice for their soup despite it being too hot to eat, leading to a negative overall impression. These experiences highlight the importance of clear communication, and patrons might consider having a translation app ready or being prepared to communicate through gestures if they anticipate such challenges.
Regarding food safety and inspections, public records from King County show varying results over time. While some inspections have yielded "Satisfactory" results, others have indicated "Unsatisfactory" outcomes with minor violations related to proper food handling and storage, or issues with facilities. It is important to note that these are snapshots in time, and restaurants are expected to address any noted deficiencies. For the most up-to-date information on inspection results, consulting the King County public health website is recommended.

While specific, ongoing promotional deals are not consistently advertised online, the restaurant's pricing is generally considered reasonable for the generous portions and quality of ingredients. They often provide combination plates and bento box specials that offer a complete meal at a good value. Occasionally, the restaurant might participate in local dining programs or offer deals through third-party platforms like Restaurant.com, where customers can find certificates for discounts. It is always a good idea to check these platforms or call the restaurant directly for any current promotions.

After visiting a doctor, or for healthcare professionals looking for a quick and satisfying meal option during a busy day, Oak Tree Teriyaki offers a practical solution. Its focus on takeout and a relatively fast service model means you can get a hot, freshly prepared meal without a long wait. The availability of a private parking lot further enhances its appeal for those commuting by car, providing ease of access in an often-busy urban environment. This makes it a suitable choice for a quick lunch break or a comforting dinner after appointments, aligning with the needs of individuals who might be using a "Doctor Near Me" platform to manage their day.
In summary, Oak Tree Teriyaki is a local Japanese eatery that offers classic teriyaki dishes, sushi, and bento boxes in a casual setting. Oak Tree Teriyaki Reviews
I keep coming back for the honey chicken. This place is always serving up proper. I've been in California for a year and have missed this dish.
May 14, 2025 · N PDON’T DO IT!!!I went into this place, hoping for a quick snack without reading any of the reviews. I guess that means the fault is mine. That being said, the people at this location didn’t speak any English and didn’t seem very interested in trying to figure out what I needed. I ended up using Google translate between English and Korean in order to get my message through. I paid $13 for a plastic tub of wonton soup with a plastic spoon. It was far too hot to eat much less pick up. I waited for 5 minutes and it was still too hot. When I asked for some ice so that I could cool it off, the man at the cash register refused. I asked him twice and he refuses second time as well. so, not only was it expensive and bad food, but I was unable to eat it. He gave me a lid for the container and gestured that I take it home. Never again.
Aug 11, 2024 · Jaxon RavensBeen coming here for years, love the classic teriyaki in tofu and chicken. The owner understands English to a degree, I have had no problem placing an order over the phone and then showing up and paying and taking it to go. Support this small mom and pop teriyaki spot and keep it simple
May 23, 2025 · Lee MullenSo I went there yesterday. The guy couldn’t understand English. Told him I wanted a number 1 and a number 3. He grabbed my card without putting in a price. I was so tired when I signed. That I didn’t realize he only charged me for one. We got into an argument as I like extra food for later and an extra meal. I told him to show me the receipt that I signed. They seriously need to hire someone that speaks English that can take an order. Finally got my second order of food. When I opened them up like all the other reviews said, portions are small and also prices don’t match the board to what he charged me and I didn’t feel like arguing with him over that. Went to pick up my dog and the guy behind me saw me from the restaurant worked at the vets and was like yeah we tried that place and they over charged us and didn’t get our order right. They said they don’t order from them anymore because of over charging. Sad when the places right next door stopped ordering.Next time I’m going to wingstop or my other teriyaki place that provides larger quantities and better pricing
Mar 22, 2025 · CassieRun of the Mill Teriyaki, but good. Nothing special, except that it is a ma-and-pa operation. The man does not speak English, so you have to direct him to point with his pointer for your choice of the photos above the counter. Four total tables. Reasonably priced. Shrimp with veggies is delicious, but I wish they would take the tails off.
