While specific details about the interior decor aren't extensively publicized, the general consensus among patrons points to a comfortable and welcoming environment, perfect for a casual meal or a gathering with friends and family. The restaurant’s commitment to excellent service is often highlighted by patrons, indicating a warm and attentive staff eager to ensure a pleasant dining experience for every guest.
One of the defining features of Oishi Japanese Kitchen is its unique menu, which ventures beyond the typical sushi offerings to explore the rich and diverse world of Japanese street food. The menu proudly features dishes that are deeply rooted in Japanese culinary traditions, providing a genuine taste of the country's vibrant food scene. This dedication to authenticity is a major draw for both seasoned fans of Japanese cuisine and those new to its delights.
Among the standout offerings, Oishi Japanese Kitchen’s ramen receives frequent accolades. Customers consistently praise the quality of the noodles, often described as cooked to perfection, and the depth of flavor in the broth. The pork, a crucial component of many traditional ramen dishes, is highlighted as being incredibly flavorful and tender, a testament to the kitchen's meticulous preparation. While the restaurant adheres to traditional Japanese ramen preparations, typically featuring pork, there's been some customer feedback expressing interest in a chicken option, suggesting a potential area for menu expansion in the future. However, the current commitment to authentic pork-based ramen is deeply appreciated by purists and those seeking a true Japanese experience.
Beyond the ramen, Oishi Japanese Kitchen also offers other Japanese street food delights. The **yakiniku** comes highly recommended by some patrons, with one reviewer specifically advising others to "stick with the yakiniku!!!" This suggests it’s a dish not to be missed and a strong contender for a flavorful and satisfying meal. While one review mentioned a thin Tonkotsu ramen broth, it’s clear that the restaurant’s overall commitment to quality shines through in its other offerings. Another customer review noted that the Miso Ramen has a slight spice and a notable saltiness, which is useful information for those with specific dietary preferences or sensitivities.
The restaurant’s commitment to continuous improvement is another commendable aspect. Word among patrons suggests that the owners are always looking for ways to enhance the menu and dining experience. This proactive approach to customer feedback and culinary evolution indicates a genuine passion for their craft and a desire to provide the best possible experience for their guests. This dedication to improvement ensures that Oishi Japanese Kitchen remains a dynamic and evolving culinary destination.

One minor point noted by a customer is that the restroom is located outside the main dining area, in the back of the restaurant. While this might be a slight departure from typical indoor facilities, it’s clearly marked and easily accessible, and for many, a minor detail compared to the overall positive dining experience.

Oishi Japanese kitchen Reviews
I arrived at 5:30 PM and was immediately impressed with the excellent service and delicious food. The restaurant had a unique menu featuring Japanese street food, which was such a treat! The ramen noodles were cooked to perfection, and the pork was absolutely amazing—so flavorful and tender.I noticed the restroom was conveniently located in the back of the restaurant, which was helpful.I’ve heard the owners are always looking for ways to improve the menu, and while the ramen is outstanding, it might be worth considering a chicken option as well. That being said, I truly appreciate the authenticity of sticking to pork, just as it’s traditionally served in Japan.Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend checking this place out!
December 20 · Nhu Lebathroom is not inside the store, its outside. The ramen: tonkatsu is a bit thin, that I immediately regretted. stick with the yakiniku!!!miso ramen: slightly spice in it, but lots of salt! Beware!
February 25 · an0nny MyMouseThey are pretty busy, and the food takes some time to come out because it's busy so be patient it's worth it! Yakitori selection is pretty standard, we ordered chicken, pork belly, unagi, and shishito peppers. We also ordered the mentaiko udon and the aji fry (breaded and deep fried mackerel which I forgot to take a pic of). Everything was delicious, their shichimi blend(seasoned spicy salt) was good on everything. Stand-out yakitori was the pork belly(all were good), and the mentaiko udon was smokey and briney (imagine seafood flavored alfredo with a pinch of nori, green onion, and smoke infused fish eggs). It was all scrumptious and reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend!!
August 20 · Resa MatsudaWe went here yesterday, had about a 20-25 minute, they were very busy with a large group, so we were fine waiting no big deal. We were seated, and served water right away and our appetizer order was taken promptly. The service here and atmosphere easily gets a 5 star review. I will say before I rate food items, I can be a bit picky, my family that came with me loved everything they ate. Regardless, I still rate my food overall a 7/10. We ordered gyoza, several yakotori, beef bowl, and my boyfriend got udon. The gyoza for me was a bit over cooked (we got pan fried) but also (only to me) had a strange after taste. But the dipping sauce was very nice. All the yakitori we got (chicken, neigi chicken, quail egg) was delicious 10/10. We also ordered beef steak and unagi. The beef steak was very well done, tough to eat unfortunately. The Unagi had good flavor but I believe was a cheap product, but was overly fatty. My boyfriend said his Udon was 10/10 (im not a fan of udon so I won't rate!) My beef bowl was good. Good flavor, only negative bit is there was not alot of beef, and for the price I had hoped for more. I will return to definitely try the ramen, and the team there was very nice!
May 18 · Maddie F.I give them a 4.5.Brand new place, and they are really good. It was slow at first, but I know they're finding a rhythm. Regardless, we enjoyed the food. Tonight, we ordered gyoza, pork belly, tuna may nagiri, karaage, and shoyu ramen. The only thing I didn't like was the pork belly had propane smell to it, and that's something I would change. Other than that, we enjoyed our food. Everything had good flavor :)Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. We plan to come back and try more food. Keep up the awesome job guys!At the end of the day, they just opened up barely a week ago. I noticed some rude reviews and honestly if you are going to be that negative and talk down about a business that just opened up and are still working on things...just don't ever return. Lol they don't need your business.
