Oki Shōten (Ramen and Sake Bar) Reviews
I love the menu at this place and can't wait to go back to try more dishes. I wasn't very hungry on my last visit so I just ordered the Dumpling Curry, Tofu Tempura, and Taro Milk Boba Tea. It was all delicious and I had enough leftovers for two more meals. I tried a piece of my friend's kale tempura (from the Galanga Ramen) and it was insanely good. I could have a bowl of just the kale. Not sure if they sell kale tempura separately but they should!
Apr 26, 2025 · Jane LMy stepmother and I had an amazing first time at Oki Shoten. We shared a fried chicken appetizer. I ordered big bowl showdown (miso broth, mushroom, scallion, seaweed, and marinated beef) and a strawberry lemonade. The restaurant is small, but comfy. The walls are covered with pictures of classic animes, ESPECIALLY Ghibli movies!
Apr 14, 2025 · CK Arts122I took a day trip to Georgetown on my day off and decided to come here for lunch back in November. I had found out about this place through reels I saw on Instagram and it looked cool so I wanted to check it out for myself. I remember loving everything I got but they are currently closed because they are moving to a new location. I'm planning to go back and when they open I will erase this and give you a more accurate and updated review of the food and my entire experience!
Feb 14, 2025 · The Nerdy Millennialfood was good but the waiter that served us literally overcharged us by 16 USD. Unfortunately we only figured it out when were back at the hotel and too far to walk back. We were wandering how was it possible to have spend 69$ for 2 ramen bowls (17 and 18usd) and 2 small apetizers (8 and 10 usd)…. Be careful when they bring your check!!!!
May 22, 2025 · Giulia IsidoriAbout time to have a good, classic, rich Ramen. The miso broth I tried is thick, chewy noodles, and a good selection of add-ons. They also have Boba on the menu among other items. Cozy place to be, especially for me as someone who loves and respects classic Japanese cuisine, and anime! Did't find Captain Harlock on the wall though :)Also I think the entrance could be more visible, or some more pronounced sign - I missed the alley turn
