The signature dish comes with a yuzu based sauce, very refreshing and is perfect for a spring-summer afternoon. The vegan version comes with a more soy/miso based sauce. The sauce is saltier compared to the signature version. Both come with a tempura set.

The noodles set, both the signature and the soup versions were good. I enjoyed the broth, and the dipping sauce. The noodles were so thin and it went well with both styles. Would highly recommend if you like Japanese food.There was a small wait when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 2.30pm but it was all good.

The tempura is light and delicate..a riff is tempura bacon, which was good but the veggie tempura pieces were even better. I got the tsukemen style with very wide (around 1.5") flat noodles, great chew and bounce, a little tough to pick up, lol. The dipping broth is well balanced and flavorful. This is a tiny place, counter seating only. Great for solo dining or with 1 other person.

The udon is flat and wide not round if that is what someone is expecting.The tempura is very good too, the shrimp is probably the best tempura shrimp I have ever had. It is definitely easier to solo dine as it is a tight space, but go regardless if solo or small group (wouldn’t recommend more than 3 people).You order and pay first so once you’re done eating you can just leave.
