Omakase @ Barracks Row

522 8th St SE, Washington, DC 20003, USA

4.0
Having dined at two and three Michelin star Omakase and sushi restaurants in both Kyoto, Japan, and San Francisco, this was by far the best dining experience as far as flavors, sake pairing, and overall dining experience. The fish could not have been any fresher, the combination of unique condiments and fish was amazing, and the bold flavors in the sake created a dining experience that was to die for. The sake pairing was absolutely worth it, and a must to really fully enjoy the menu. Gabriel knows his spirit, and will recommend the best pairing, wine or sake. This was an amazing dining experience, and the attention to detail made this experience extraordinary, something you will not experience often in the DC metro area. - Melanie Schultz

Promotions or Special Offers

Given the exclusive nature and Michelin-starred status of Omakase @ Barracks Row, traditional "promotions" or "special offers" in the conventional sense are not typically part of their business model. The value here is inherently built into the extraordinary quality of the ingredients, the meticulous preparation, the expert sake pairings, and the overall bespoke dining experience.

The core pricing structure is clear, with the base omakase experience starting around "$180/pp." However, customers emphasize that while you "could keep costs relatively low (for expensive omakase) with just the $180/pp and get no extras, second-rounds, or the sake flight," the true "awesome and special evening" is achieved by "paying more" for the additional enhancements like the highly recommended sake pairing. This suggests that the "special offer" is the enhanced experience itself, where the added cost for pairings and potentially "second-rounds" directly translates into an even more profound culinary journey.

It is always advisable to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about any specific seasonal menu changes or unique events they might host, as these would be the most likely form of "special offering" from an establishment of this caliber.
