It’s a place designed to create memorable moments through delicious food and a lively atmosphere.
Osaka Hibachi Sushi & Bar is conveniently located at 5120 S State Hwy 78 Suite 100, Sachse, TX 75048, USA. Its position along State Highway 78 makes it easily accessible for residents of Sachse and surrounding communities in North Texas. The restaurant benefits from being in a visible and well-trafficked area, ensuring that it's easy to find. Patrons will appreciate the "plenty of parking outside," which adds to the convenience, especially for larger groups or during busy periods. Its strategic location allows it to serve as a central hub for Japanese dining, whether you’re heading out for a special celebration or just a casual weeknight meal.
Osaka Hibachi Sushi & Bar offers a wide array of services designed to cater to various dining preferences and group sizes:
Hibachi Dining Experience: The restaurant features dedicated grill areas for both large and small parties, where skilled chefs prepare meals right in front of diners. This interactive and entertaining service is a major draw, perfect for celebrations or a fun night out.
Traditional Dining Room Seating: For those who prefer a more conventional dining experience, there's a spacious area with tables where guests can order from the full menu, including hibachi dishes prepared in the kitchen, sushi, and other Japanese entrees.
Sushi Bar: While not explicitly detailed, the name "Sushi & Bar" indicates a dedicated sushi bar area where diners can enjoy fresh sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls, often watching the sushi chefs at work.
Full Bar Service: The restaurant includes a well-stocked bar area offering a variety of alcoholic beverages, including "draft Japanese beer," cocktails like the "blueberry Mule," and bottled beer. This makes it an ideal spot for enjoying a drink with your meal or for a happy hour gathering.
Lunch and Dinner Service: Osaka Hibachi Sushi & Bar serves both lunch and dinner. They offer a specific Hibachi Lunch menu available on weekdays, though it's important to note the hibachi tables may have earlier shut-down times (e.g., 1:30 PM for lunch).
Accommodating Large Parties: The restaurant's spacious layout and multiple seating areas, including large hibachi tables, make it well-suited for accommodating big groups and family gatherings.
Osaka Hibachi Sushi & Bar distinguishes itself through several key features that contribute to its appeal among Texans:
Spacious and Clean Environment: Customers consistently praise the restaurant for being "very nice and spacious" and "very clean." This creates a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for all diners.
Entertaining Hibachi Cooks: The hibachi experience is highlighted by "fun" cooks who engage with diners, adding an element of entertainment to the meal preparation. This makes it a lively and memorable experience, especially for those celebrating.
Delicious and Perfectly Cooked Food: Patrons rave about the quality of the food. The "fried rice was really good," and "everything else was cooked to perfection," ensuring a satisfying culinary experience across their menu.
Quality Drink Selection: The bar offers a good selection of beverages, with mentions of "good and cold" draft Japanese beer and a tasty "blueberry Mule," enhancing the overall dining pleasure.
Customer Service: Despite being busy, the staff, like hostesses such as Alexis, are noted for being "great" and providing "great service." While occasional service hiccups can occur, the overall sentiment is positive, with staff striving to be attentive.
Happy Hour Specials: The restaurant has offered "happy hour special of $3 bottled beer," providing excellent value on drinks, which is a great incentive for patrons.
Versatile Seating Options: The availability of grill areas, regular tables, and a bar area allows diners to choose the experience that best suits their mood and occasion.
While some patrons experienced minor issues, such as the hibachi tables closing earlier than expected for lunch or temporary waitress disappearances during busy periods, the general consensus points to a highly positive dining experience, especially for the quality of food and the hibachi show.
Osaka Hibachi Sushi & Bar offers specific promotions that add value to the dining experience for its Texas patrons:
Hibachi Lunch Menu: They have a dedicated "Hibachi Lunch" menu, available Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 2:30 PM. This provides a more affordable way to enjoy their hibachi offerings during weekday hours. However, it's crucial for diners to note that the actual "hibachi tables shut down at 1:30 PM," meaning full hibachi show dining needs to commence earlier in the lunch window.
Happy Hour Specials: The restaurant has offered "happy hour special of $3 bottled beer," which is a great deal for those looking to enjoy a drink with their meal.
Texans are encouraged to confirm these timings and offers directly with the restaurant, as specials can sometimes be subject to change or specific conditions. It's always a good idea to call ahead to ensure you can fully experience the desired service, particularly the hibachi grill.

Osaka Hibachi Sushi & Bar Reviews
12/02/24: First visit. My wife and I decided to try this place out. The restaurant is very nice and spacious. There were grill areas for large and small parties. There was also an area with tables and a bar area. The restaurant was very clean. It was pretty busy when we arrived, and we were seated in a hibachi area for a party of eight. There were two other families in our area, and we had a good time. The food was great, and the cook was fun. The fried rice was really good, and everything else was cooked to perfection. The draft Japanese beer was good and cold, and the blueberry Mule was good. Easy to find and plenty of parking outside. We will definitely return!2/25/25: Party of four. We went for theHibachi Lunch, since their menu stated that lunch was Mon-Fri from 11am-2:30pm. We were advised when we entered that the hibachi tables shut down at 1:30pm. We arrived at 1:39pm. She told us that we could sit in the dining room and order from the lunch menu, to include the Hibachi Lunch. We were disappointed, since two in our party were celebrating birthdays and were from out of state. Although we wanted them to experience actual hibachi dining, we decided to stay and have lunch.Alexis was our hostess, and she was great. Each of us ordered from the Hibachi Lunch menu. She brought the soups and salads out first, and it didn't take long for our food to arrive. Everyone was pleased with their order. It wasn't very busy, and the service was great. Although we didn't get the full hibachi experience, we had a good time!
Feb 25, 2025 · Frank NI really wanted to like this place because my grandson loves it. We came in as they opened around 5pm. We were greeted right away and seated when our party of 7 was complete. Our drink orders came out in a reasonable time, and the cook arrived to our hibachi setting after a small wait. They had a happy hour special of $3 bottled beer! From there tho, our experience began to deteriorate. Our waitress/attendee disappeared! We had to literally go looking for her once and our cook did once. Another time we just waited. I know this is just one experience, but the place was not being managed at that time. We will be back.
May 13, 2025 · Steve RichardsonMy BFF and I have been there multiple times over the past few months. The food is good however the manager / bartender I think her name is Julia seems to dismiss and ignore us every time we would come into the establishment. We would sit at the bar and she would bartend and completely act as if we were not sitting there. The other servers knew how she would treat certain customers but couldn't say anything to her because she was a manager. She made me and my friend feel very uncomfortable while we sitting at the bar. She never said hi, asked if we needed any refills, or if we needed any additional food, etc. she was very friendly to the people around us and it was clearly obvious that we were not being attended to. Once I brought this to her attention she got very defensive. She then would go to the back of the restaurant and would not come back out. This is really a shame because this was a nice spot on my way home from work. My bestie stated this was the last time we will be going there. I guess we have to find another spot. So sad!!!
Apr 17, 2025 · Christina U.I really wanted to like this place, me and my husband ordered chicken ramen and miso spicy ramen but we’re not please with the flavor. We attempted to see if we could trade it out for something different but the kitchen was closed. So, in an attempt to keep everyone from walking away loosing I offered to pay half of one bowl giving that I wasn’t taking any of their products with me to go. The manager Julie was initially only willing to do half off on both bowls and when we spoke with her she took me saying I didn’t like the ramen as a personal insult as she started to state that she had been open for 7 years and never had that issue. She also stated that the people in this area usually still pay and take their food to go if they are not satisfied, as if that had any relevance to the fact that I was paying for a product I didn’t eat nor take to go with me. She over talked me while I was trying to explain how although they are loosing product it has nothing to do with the fact that the customer is paying for a product they didn’t eat, like or take. I am very dissatisfied with how Julie the owner and manager treated us without being understanding. I am pregnant and left empty handed and still paid for it. She then tells me I don’t need to come back and I can go somewhere else to get food. I am very unproblematic but there seemed to be no solutions provided and me as a customer had to give the owner a solution that would satisfy both of us because had I not, she would have charged us full price. The attachments below show the food we didn’t eat and paid for.
Dec 27, 2024 · Abraham OwusuThis was a fantastic experience all around. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite after work. We were not disappointed in the quality of food or the quality of atmosphere. I have to say, I think they have the best ginger dressing I have ever had. The clear soup was great, shrimp tempura, bento box, sushi rolls, and rice was all so very good. I highly recommend this establishment for all kinds of nights out or dates. Although we did not partake in the hibachi side of the restaurant, it looked great too!
