Osakana Midtown Introduce
New Yorkers are always on the lookout for authentic, high-quality culinary experiences that fit into their fast-paced lives. When it comes to Japanese cuisine, especially fresh sushi and sashimi, finding a reliable and convenient spot can be a game-changer. Enter **Osakana Midtown**, a unique gem that offers precisely this – an opportunity to enjoy premium Japanese seafood without the traditional sit-down restaurant experience.
Osakana Midtown isn't your typical Japanese restaurant with extensive seating and a full dining menu. Instead, it operates as a specialized food stand within a Japanese grocery store, focusing on providing exceptionally fresh, pre-made sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese delicacies for takeaway. This model caters perfectly to the New York lifestyle, allowing busy professionals and locals to grab a high-quality meal on the go.
What sets Osakana Midtown apart is its commitment to quality. They are part of a larger mission to make high-quality, sushi-grade fish accessible to everyone in New York City. This dedication translates into surprisingly excellent taste and texture, ensuring that even a quick takeaway meal feels like a luxurious treat. If you appreciate the nuances of fresh seafood and are looking for a convenient way to enjoy it, Osakana Midtown is a place you'll want to add to your rotation.
It's important to note that while some online images might show a full restaurant, the Midtown location is primarily a retail counter for pre-made items. This distinction is crucial for managing expectations and fully appreciating what Osakana Midtown excels at: delivering top-tier Japanese seafood products in a grab-and-go format.
---Osakana Midtown is strategically located at **370 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10017, USA**. This address places it firmly in the bustling Midtown East neighborhood of Manhattan, making it incredibly accessible for a wide range of New Yorkers.
A key aspect of its location is that the entrance to the grocery store, within which Osakana Midtown operates, is conveniently situated in the middle of 41st Street. This specific detail is helpful for those navigating the busy streetscape to easily find their way. Being in the vicinity of 41st Street and Lexington Avenue places it just a stone's throw away from one of New York City's most iconic landmarks and transportation hubs: **Grand Central Terminal**.
For commuters, office workers in the surrounding corporate buildings, or even tourists exploring the city, Osakana Midtown's proximity to Grand Central is a significant advantage. It allows for a quick and easy detour to pick up a high-quality meal without venturing far from major transit lines. If you're wondering where to enjoy your delicious takeaway, many locals recommend utilizing the food court area conveniently located under Grand Central itself, just around the corner, which provides a comfortable spot to sit down and savor your purchases.
The accessibility and central location make Osakana Midtown an ideal choice for a convenient and quick Japanese meal, perfect for fitting into a busy New York day.

Based on the available public information, Osakana Midtown does not explicitly advertise ongoing "promotions" or "special offers" in the traditional sense, such as percentage discounts or buy-one-get-one deals. However, the inherent value proposition of Osakana Midtown acts as its continuous "special offer" to New Yorkers.
Their primary attractive feature is the consistent provision of **excellent quality sushi and sashimi at remarkably reasonable prices**. This affordability for premium, sushi-grade fish is a form of ongoing value that appeals greatly to locals. Customers frequently highlight that the prices are "reasonable" and that they offer "excellent quality" for what you pay. For example, finding small nigiri sets that are both fresh and affordable in Midtown Manhattan is itself a significant benefit.
The business model focuses on making high-quality Japanese seafood more accessible. This mission translates into a pricing strategy that prioritizes value for the customer on every purchase, rather than relying on intermittent sales or limited-time promotions. New Yorkers who are savvy about their food choices understand that receiving consistently fresh and well-prepared sushi at a competitive price is a continuous advantage, making Osakana Midtown a smart and economical choice for their Japanese food cravings.
Therefore, while you might not find a "deal of the day" listed, the very essence of Osakana Midtown's offering—premium quality at reasonable rates—serves as its constant and most compelling "special offer" to its dedicated clientele.

Osakana Midtown Reviews
The entrance of the grocery store that sells Osakana products is in the middle of 41st!!! Excellent quality and reasonable prices!!! There is no seating just premade items for take away! If you don’t know where to sit down you can go under Grand Central just around the corner at the food court👍
May 30, 2025 · Ray YeungThis little corner with premade sushi sells small nigiri sets at affordable prices.I recommend taking them to go. Due to the fridge the food will be too cold to eat on site. Some of the pictures are wrong and are part of an actual restaurant nearby. This is just a food stand.

Feb 12, 2025 · sevdet kukajI was very confused where this place was but realized it was inside the Japanese grocery store…. The Osakana area itself is pretty small and everything was pre made. I thought it would be like the other location but this place is a market. Everything I got was very good and fresh. You can see workers constantly re stock the sushi. I also saw fresh fish being brought in. The prices are also very adorable for the quality and amount sashimi you are given. There are also a wide amount options in the grocery store (ramen, unigiri, sushi rolls, snacks, etc.) this place is 10/10 I would recommend:)
