Poke Sushi primarily focuses on its namesake, the poke bowl, which combines fresh ingredients in a customizable and fulfilling meal. While the emphasis is on efficiency and take-out service, the location itself on the Broadwalk provides an opportunity to enjoy your meal with a view, whether it's the ocean breeze or the lively boardwalk scene.
It's important for potential diners to note that Poke Sushi operates with a specific focus on quick-service and take-out, which shapes the overall dining experience. This approach means that while traditional sit-down dining might not be the primary focus, the convenience of grabbing a fresh poke bowl or other Japanese-style item to enjoy on the go is a key offering. As with any quick-service establishment, understanding their specific strengths, such as their poke bowls, can help manage expectations and lead to a more satisfying visit.

1000 North Broadwalk, Suite 5, Hollywood, FL 33019, USA
The North Broadwalk is a well-known pedestrian promenade in Hollywood, famous for its lively atmosphere, beachfront views, and array of shops and eateries. This location makes Poke Sushi incredibly convenient for beachgoers, tourists, and locals enjoying a stroll or day out by the ocean. While the Broadwalk itself is primarily for pedestrians, access to the area is straightforward. Parking can be found in various public parking garages and lots along A1A, just a short walk from the Broadwalk, though it's worth noting that parking near popular beach areas can sometimes be busy, especially during peak seasons or weekends.
The unique address within Suite 5 along the Broadwalk implies it's part of a collection of businesses, making it easy to spot amidst the other offerings. Its immediate proximity to the beach also means that grabbing a meal from Poke Sushi allows for an instant picnic on the sand or a casual meal with an ocean backdrop. The location significantly enhances the appeal for those seeking a convenient and scenic dining experience in Hollywood.
Poke Sushi primarily offers services focused on quick and convenient Japanese-inspired dining, particularly emphasizing its poke bowls. Based on available information, here are the key services:

- Limited Seating / Casual Dining: While explicit details on dine-in seating are not extensively highlighted, the mention of it being "only takeout allowed" in some reviews suggests seating may be very limited or primarily intended for waiting, if available at all. It's best to anticipate a take-out experience.
- Delivery through Third-Party Platforms: Poke Sushi partners with major food delivery services such as DoorDash and Uber Eats, allowing customers to order their food for delivery directly to their location.
- Additional Menu Items: Beyond poke bowls, the menu also includes other Asian and American-inspired items such as various sushi rolls, appetizers (e.g., Shrimp Dumplings, Spring Rolls, Ahi Tuna Nachos), some specialty dishes, and even pizza, catering to a broader range of preferences.

- Convenient Broadwalk Location: Its prime spot on the North Broadwalk makes it easily accessible for beachgoers and those enjoying the lively Hollywood Beach area, offering a quick bite with scenic surroundings.
- Focus on Poke Bowls: The restaurant's strength appears to be its poke bowls, which are noted for having a "decent amount of tuna" and being "very tasty" by some customers. They offer various protein options, including Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Lobster, and vegan choices like Tofu Kimchi.
- Variety of Base Options: Customers can choose between Hawaiian rice or zucchini noodles for their poke bowls, catering to different dietary preferences.

- Speedy Service (implied by take-out focus): The emphasis on takeout suggests a system geared towards quick preparation and service, ideal for those on a tight schedule or looking for a fast meal.
- Online Ordering & Delivery: The availability through major delivery platforms like DoorDash and Uber Eats highlights convenience for those who prefer to have their food delivered.
Specific, regularly advertised promotions for Poke Sushi on the Hollywood Broadwalk are not explicitly detailed in the provided information. However, like many quick-service establishments, particularly those that utilize third-party delivery platforms, there are common avenues through which customers might find offers:
- Third-Party Delivery Platform Promotions: Poke Sushi partners with services like DoorDash and Uber Eats. These platforms frequently run their own promotions, which can include:
- Discounts on first orders from a new restaurant.
- Free delivery for orders over a certain amount.
- Percentage-off deals during specific promotional periods.
- Buy-one-get-one (BOGO) offers that the restaurant might opt into.
It is highly recommended for potential customers to check the DoorDash and Uber Eats apps directly for any current or upcoming promotions from Poke Sushi.
- In-Store Specials: Although the primary focus seems to be takeout, some establishments may have in-store specials that are only advertised on-site. Visiting the location might reveal such offers, though this is less likely given the mentioned "takeout only" experience.
Given the nature of the business and the limited public information on promotions, checking the mentioned delivery apps would be the most effective way for locals to find any available deals for Poke Sushi.

Poke Sushi Reviews
Poke bowl was pretty good; everything else was pretty bad. The poke bowl ($15) had a decent amount of tuna and overall was very tasty. The burger was almost inedible- flavorless with an odd texture, unsure it's beef. The calamari was underbreaded and unseasoned. The crispy mahi was not great either. Only takeout allowed
May 05, 2025 · Eleanor TynerThe place no longer looks like the pictures, I was starving all day and craving salmon so I decided to get a poke bowl, when I came in i got a nasty menu with crumbs, the salmon poke had toppings that you couldnt pick, the only thing i got to pick was the salmon. The bowl was 15 dollars and I got extra salmon for another 3 because the worker did not speak english and when I asked how much salmon I get he could not answer so i got extra just in case. The bill somehow came out to 22 dollars though because they add a 20 precent service charge for to go clients. I opened the poke at home and it was a small serving of soggy stale rice that does not even fall apart, on top were MASSIVE chunks of nasty salmon, it was cut into 2 to 3 inch chunks which you could not eat in one bite, the salmon was also all with the gray nasty part of fish that is always cut off, not served in food. There is also an insane amount of edamame, where basically that is all you can taste I was so hungry but I barely touched this nasty abomination that they called food. It is served in a container not meant for poke bowls. I am still hungry but that is better then eating that. This is the worst food I can remeber eating, if I could give negative stars I would do that.
Jan 26, 2025 · АлинаHad the pleasure of stopping here July 3rd 2023. Small spot so there wasn’t much to give for atmosphere. It has a great view of the beach, it wasn’t too busy. I had a salmon poke bowl, spring rolls and spicy a spicy tuna roll. It was fresh and pretty damn good!
Jul 11, 2023 · CaveManWould not recommend this place. First of all the service was subpar. We felt rushed and dismissed. Secondly, we had originally ordered a salmon poke bowl and they brought us tuna. Once the right one came and we tasted it, it was not fresh. We tried mixing it in hopes it would taste better but there was a lot of sauce and it tasted like they threw in a bag of spring mix in a poke bowl. We let the waitress know we did not like it. In the end they still charged us for the bowl we sent back and when I spoke up about they still didn’t remove it from the bill but instead gave us a “discount”. We also had wings, tune tartar and miso soup. All in all, very underwhelming.
Jan 09, 2023 · Christian AldanaThe place was packed and about to close, but we never ran out of water, all of our orders were correct, we saw the waitress in a timely fashion, and there were 8 of us! The food quality was superb! I got a salmon tower, my S/O got a salmon bowl, and other at the table got nachos, more bowls and towers. Everything was just amazing! Thank you for the wonderful evening!
