QZ Poke Ramen & Boba Tea - Zona Rosa Reviews
The atmosphere is modern and pleasant with lots of large windows and light. You order at a screen at the front counter and they make your food in the back. Your ordered dishes are then delivered by a very basic food delivery cart robot ... Kind of cool, but it basically just pulls up in the vicinity of your table and parks until you take your food off and push a button to tell it to return. Still, novel. I got caught up in conversation and forgot to get a video of the robot cart.Assuming your order is right, you could actually go without interacting with humans, potentially at all. If you are feeling anti social. The options include some fairly interesting possible ingredients. The base build your own Ramen includes a few things, but could very quickly up charge to a more expensive dish than would be reasonable. A typical ramen place will include everything, even seasoning toppings like roasted garlic oil, chili oil, green onions, those all count against the few things that you get here as part of the base dish - so without up charges it is a very basic dish. The portions make a reasonable serving, but don't expect to have leftovers. You could almost go to an authentic ramen place for something near the same price range, but it is quick and convenient. We do have some more authentic ramen options in the metro, but for a nearby quick and tasty bite - we will definitely visit again when the occasion calls for it.The ramen was good, not spectacular but for a semi fast food restaurant it was pretty well done.
Jan 20, 2025 · Michael JayGreat lunch date with the teen and hub. This place hit the spot on a cold day in KC. Soups, poke bowl and drinks were delivered by robot which was a cool experience. Everything tasted great.
Jan 18, 2025 · Betty BenaventeBoba and food here is great. We had ramen, poke, and a bao. Everything was delicious and to our expectations. They even have a robot that delivers the food to your table. It looks like a big place, but there's actually not that much seating.
Dec 14, 2024 · Leo SuI just had boba and it was really good. The poke bowl and ramen looked great but I can't comment on the taste. Some people are not a fan of the kiask ordering. Otherwise, the boba was amazing. I got the strawberry milk tea with the strawberry bursting boba!
Nov 30, 2024 · Benjamin LeasmanI got the ramen after hearing amazing reviews about the poke bowls. The ramen was pretty good. No enoki mushrooms here, big sad 😢 the real loss here though was the eggs. Both my wife and I's eggs were basically undercooked hardboiled eggs. I love ramen, I know what softboiled eggs are, this is if you intended to hardboil an egg and just miss-timed it.My family and I didn't speak to a single living person in our hour visit lol. There were 3-5 teens just standing behind the counter doing a combination of avoiding eye contact but also having absolutely nothing to do. I've never felt so awkward in my life. This is the experience I've heard from several friends. You're asked to tip for this. Even when the food is delivered, it's placed on a robot and sent to your table. It's cute, but the complete lack of human interaction for such an expensive dish is a little crazy.Seating hasn't changed since this was a Noodles and Company. You're shoulder to shoulder at the booths/bar seating or your sitting at the gigantic table right in front of the front counter. The first seats to go are the booths around the corner.Lastly, the boba.. VERY sweet and small portion size. All three had all of the flavor syrup just sitting at the bottom.Honestly kinda bummed, I have been looking for a place to fill the hole Komatsu left when it closed during COVID. This ain't it...Maybe Poke is the only way 🤷♂️
