May 11, 2025 · Nilam PatelRaisu has become our favorite date restaurant! The service and the ambiance are always cozy and warm. We love all the sushi creations the chef makes from a beautiful and fresh chirashi bowl to their fancy special maki rolls. Their ingredients are always fresh and top notch. The 3 different types of sake on a sake flight are a great addition to the meal. They all complement the fresh fish beautifully! You can count on Raisu offer an excellent dining experience and a great service!!!
Dec 11, 2024 · Sabrina HwuThis is a great spot with a few exceptions. The signature option for any of the sushi should be avoided at all costs. Totally ruins a perfect piece of fish. If I order tuna why would you add pineapple so all I taste is pineapple and then charge me so much? Maybe some folks like this but I think it’s not good at all. I wish our waitress did a better job at explaining all this - instead she just wanted to increase the bill. Service was extra slow to a point where I thought I have to find out if we are ever getting our food. This place is not cheap at all so be ready to spend least $100 per person not including drinks. This has so much potential and a couple dishes were good but just the crazy pricing like $25 for a hand roll that was super tiny combined with the signature pieces just make this place no longer worth it. Very sad.
Jan 19, 2024 · Eugene FBetter than average sushi. If you want the best in the area, this one stands alongside Lawrence Fish Market in terms of freshness, quality and consistency. The presentations are not sloppy and border perfection. There is great balance of flavors with the maki that doesn’t overwhelm the fish. The fatty fishes are buttery and velvet and carry a stronger flavor. The prices are justifiable by the quality and presentation, I mean that’s why we got to restaurants, isn’t it?
Mar 03, 2025 · Roger MasaReally yummy sushi! Loved the decor and atmosphere, service was amazing and attentive and the food induced the happy wiggle you do when you eat something really yummy! I will be back! My personal favorite was Black Widow, but absolutely everything was delicious!
