RAKKAN Ramen DTLA Reviews
cozy ramen spot with outdoor seatings. We ordered pork gyoza and fries as appetizers, port gyoza is good and crispy. Then we ordered ruby, spicy ruby and spicy garnet, overall is fine. Spicy miso soup from the spicy ruby is good, ramen noodle is good chewing texture, just didn’t really like the chicken chashu, it’s just a slice of chicken breast, nothing special about it (to me, chashu is grilled style pork with charred favor). Overall is fine for a quick dinner
Apr 18, 2025 · KAI YAN LoEating at Rakken Ramen is an unforgettable experience for me because of its delicious food, good service, and accessible location. The restaurant offers a good amount of vegan options, including the ramen and gyoza. The broth is so delicious that I had to eat it all. The pork ramen was also delicious, and the portion was big. The hosts were friendly and the food arrived quickly. The restaurant is close to Litte Tokyo. There are some paid street parking options, and it might take you a while to find one, In summary, l recommend it for vegetarians and lovers of Asian cuisines.
Apr 03, 2025 · Nayara TeodoroRAKKAN is a cozy little ramen spot located in the heart of Little Tokyo in DTLA. We got a seat right away and ordered two bowls of ramen (vegan, one spicy one not) and crispy vegan gyoza, as well as the spicy cucumber. Everything came quickly and was really tasty, particularly the spicy cucumber and gyoza. The noodles in the ramen were delicious, though I didn’t find my spicy ramen that spicy but that’s okay…I added some chili oil and that helped a lot! We also got some hot green tea, which was free refills, a nice touch! The ambiance was nice and so was the service. I would recommend this place and I’d come back if I was already in Little Tokyo and craving ramen. Thanks, RAKKAN!
Jan 12, 2025 · tony eliasEasily the best vegan ramen chain in California. The noodles taste authentic and the broth tastes like soy sauce pork broth. From what I remember it did not blow me away like the Long Beach location but it’s still a solid place for ramen.
Apr 01, 2025 · Andrew SI visited Rakkan for the very first time last week, and I was so impressed!! I'm vegetarian, and their selection has a lot of great options and substitutions. I had the creamy quartz ramen which was soooooooo goooooood!!! It's so hard to find a good vegan/vegetarian ramen, so I was absolutely delighted! The restaurant is very cozy and not too loud at all. I definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a cozy comfort meal!
