I have seen this place for as long as it has been in oakleaf and have always thought nah I’ll just get hibachi at a normal sit down restaurant. Today I felt like hibachi but didn’t have time to sit down at a restaurant so I thought I’d give this place a shot. Dang! I was pleasantly surprised how good my meal was. Fried rice and veggies were perfect. The chicken was shockingly tastier and more tender than any of the other restaurants I’ve ever been to in the Oakleaf/Middleburg/Orange Park area. I really like how the whole bottom is rice and the top is the protein and veggies rather than both being on separate sides on the plate. The yum yum sauce comes in squeeze pouch which is perfect for evenly drizzling it all over. Also, I ordered the small portion and it was a lot of food. Service was quick and easy. Definitely will be back more often and can’t wait to have my wife try it too! 😁Came back three days later…Still great!!! Got the steak and shrimp lunch hibachi and my wife very much enjoyed the chicken katsu.

This was the first my family have been here and we were pretty disappointed. I guess I’m used to the real ginger dressing at our favorite hibachi place because the dressing here was pretty bad also extremely hard to even get open!! My husband and kids ordered the steak and fried rice and the majority of the steak was so raw in the middle and SO chewy it wasn’t edible. Both of my kids left hungry. I got the chicken and it was ok enough to eat but several of the pieces could have been cooked longe AND I found a hair in my rice after I had already eaten a good bit of the rice so needless to say I was immediately grossed out! We definitely wouldn’t recommend!!

I recently dined at Red Bowl and regrettably, the experience fell short of expectations due to errors in my order and unsatisfactory service.Upon receiving my meal, I noticed that the dish did not match what l had requested.Despite politely bringing this to the server's attention, the response was dismissive and lacked professionalism. The server did not offer a sincere apology or a proactive solution, which compounded the frustration of receiving an incorrect order.While I understand occasional mistakes can occur, the combination of the error and the unwelcoming demeanor of the staff made the experience notably disappointing. Clear communication and attentiveness are essential in ensuring a positive dining experience, and both were lacking during this visit.I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve order accuracy and staff training.For now, I will reconsider visiting again

If you want fresh made hibatchi without the fire show this is it.Very very good.STEAK, SHRIMP AND SALMON. OH SOOOOO GOOD. HOT AND FRESH EVERY TIME. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have been to this Red Bowl several times and everytime we have had a great experience. The staff is always polite and friendly. The establishment is clean and the tables aren't to close together, with the option to sit outside.The food they make is fresh and delicious. One thing I really like is that they don't use oil heavily like other places. They lightly fry crab Rangoon where it isn't left greasy or too crunchy. They have classic and specialty sushi options, appetizers, as well as hibachi options and everything is reasonably priced!
