Reren Lamen & Bar

817 7th St NW, Washington, DC 20001, USA

4.0
Traveling from San Francisco to Washington DC for business and after a few days in town, I could use some Asian food for a change.Looked up on Google and found the place and when I walked in I was immediately greeted in Chinese and seated by the counter by the entrance. The waitress recommended the Kingfu noodle so I went with it. The food came shortly after ordering. While it looks pretty tasty, first sip of the soup indicated a very familiar flavor - instant noodle that I used to cook at home. There were a few slices of beef and some more fresh veggies but the fact that the soup is instant, I already lost faith in the authenticity of the restaurant.Wouldn’t return to pay $16 for instant noodles but for those not familiar with authentic taste, it’s not a bad place to grab a bite. - KYLE CHIEN
