Jan 26, 2025 · Dominique AdevaiWe stopped in town for a 6 hour layover at Newark international airport. We originally went to Washington Street to eat at the pizza shop next-door. But as soon as we got there and my wife saw sushi, she wanted to try the sushi as we were returning from Italy and had eaten enough pizza.Sushi was very good. Full of flavor! Service was great very quick, very polite!!!*Most sushi places make me run to the restroom after eating and this one did not.
Jan 12, 2024 · Nikolaos PantazisSushi is very ingredient dependent, and sadly Saka does not have high quality or fresh fish. My partner and I ordered the sushi boat believing it to be a good deal, however it was just a bad meal at a high cost ($78). The majority of the sushi spread on our dish did not taste good. This is of no fault to the employees, I just believe the fish sourcing can be better. If you do dine here the fried options may cover up the lapse in fish quality.
Nov 05, 2024 · Megan BuiThis place was amazing especially considering how new it is! We went on a Friday night and it was packed but we still had super fast and attentive service. My husband and I think this might be our new favorite sushi spot in Hoboken! We ordered a couple of appetizers (edamame and shumai) and then each had a couple of sushi rolls. Everything tasted so fresh and we especially liked the seaweed salad (as an app and in my sushi roll). And it’s BYOB! Highly recommend!
