All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) Dine-In: This is the restaurant's signature service. Customers pay a flat fee for lunch or dinner and can order an unlimited amount of sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, appetizers, and other selected Japanese dishes from their extensive AYCE menu. This allows diners to explore a wide variety of offerings without worrying about the individual cost of each item.
Lunch and Dinner AYCE Options: The AYCE pricing typically varies between lunch and dinner, with lunch prices being more economical and ending around 3:30 PM. Dinner prices apply after this time and generally include a broader selection of premium items.
A La Carte Menu: While the AYCE option is a major draw, Sakura Sushi also offers an a la carte menu for those who prefer to order individual items or have smaller appetites. This provides flexibility for different dining preferences.
Takeout/Delivery: For the convenience of customers who wish to enjoy Sakura Sushi at home, takeout and delivery services are available. You can typically order through popular food delivery platforms like Grubhub and Uber Eats, which list a wide range of their classic and chef special rolls, nigiri, appetizers, and even larger party trays.
Family-Friendly Environment: The all-you-can-eat format often caters well to families and groups, allowing everyone to choose their favorites from a diverse menu. The staff is generally described as very nice and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
Sakura Sushi Schaumburg All You Can Eat stands out in the local Illinois dining scene due to several key features that draw in and satisfy its clientele.
Exceptional Value for AYCE Sushi: One of the most frequently highlighted features is the "best price" for an all-you-can-eat sushi experience. This makes it a highly attractive option for those who want to enjoy a substantial amount of sushi without a prohibitive cost, offering a great value proposition in the Schaumburg area.
Wide Variety of Sushi and Appetizers: The AYCE menu is extensive, encompassing a vast selection of sushi rolls (both classic and special), nigiri, and sashimi. Beyond sushi, customers can also enjoy a range of appetizers such as gyoza (deep-fried dumplings), spring rolls, vegetable tempura, and even fried rice. This diverse offering ensures there's something for everyone, even non-sushi eaters in a group.
Popular Roll Flavors: Specific rolls and dishes consistently receive praise. The spicy tuna and California rolls are noted for their enjoyable taste, while the fried California roll is surprisingly well-received. The fried rice is highlighted for its "unique taste compared to other places" and is described as "delicious."
Friendly and Attentive Service: Despite the volume often associated with AYCE restaurants, many customers commend the staff for being "always very nice" and attentive, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. This level of service enhances the overall visit.

Options for Beginners: The restaurant is also positioned as a good place for sushi beginners, offering simple maki rolls, nigiri, and chirashi bowls, which can help newcomers explore different types of sushi and fish.
Sakura Sushi Schaumburg All You Can Eat, like many popular local businesses, occasionally offers promotions and special deals. Based on customer reviews, one notable promotion to look out for is:
Groupon Cashback Offers: A customer review specifically mentioned a "cash back Groupon" that diners should check out. It's always a good idea for Illinois locals to search platforms like Groupon or similar deal websites before visiting, as restaurants often partner with them for discounted offers or cashback rewards.
Beyond this, it's advisable for patrons to:
Check their official website: Restaurants frequently post current specials, holiday hours, or seasonal menu additions on their own websites.
Follow their social media: Social media channels are often used to announce limited-time offers or upcoming events.
Inquire directly: When making a reservation or calling for takeout, don't hesitate to ask about any ongoing specials.
The main "promotion" itself is the AYCE model, which offers inherent value, especially for those with larger appetites for sushi. Lunch AYCE prices are generally lower than dinner, offering a cost-effective way to enjoy their extensive menu during the daytime.

Sakura Sushi Schaumburg All You Can Eat Reviews
I did my first review 4 years ago, and I gave it 5 stats.Unfortunately, today, in 2024, I'm disappointed that the quality has gone down a lot. I haven't eaten here in a couple of months and tried today for lunch again. I don't think I will be back again anytime soon. This restaurant is sadly not was it was anymore. One of the good all you can eat places with enjoyable sushi for a reasonable price. I love how the spicy tuna and California roll taste. I tried for the first time the fried California roll and is not that bad. The only thing I didn't like was the mustard sauce. Other than that, this is now our favorite place to go and have sushi. The team is always very nice to us (they also know us already lol) there is also a cash back groupon that you should check it out. I forgot to mention that the fried rice tastes delicious. We love that it has a unique taste compared to other places.
Aug 27, 2024 · YuCraftNot only the BEST sushi around, they have THE best price! This is our go-to whenever we are in the area!
May 11, 2025 · Renee FlemingSakura sushi has large rolls that are quick to the table and tasty. You may want to order 2 rolls on your first round (3 is not recommended on the first round) to make sure you are good to go for more. The standard all you can eat option is a good price and includes all rolls and appetizers. I was surprised to find that the premium is the same but only includes an additional small group of nigiri, like salmon, tamago, etc. IMO, I think the premium isn't worth the added cost when the rolls are already very large and tasty. Very important to note is that if anyone at the table orders from the short premium list, then everyone at the table also gets charged as a premium seat. Just as important to note, they will charge for any uneaten rolls, including any rice that wasn't eaten. So take care to order a little at a time if you think you may need to. I know it is a lot of rules and strategy to dine in for sushi, but the quality of the sushi for the price is pretty good. My favorite roll here was the rainbow roll. Give it a try.
May 02, 2023 · Kyle WilsonWow. This was by far the worst sushi I've ever had. The rolls are tiny, the rice had too much vinegar, most of the food was bland, and you are limited to 3 rolls per person for "all you can eat". Do NOT order the bulgogi. It had no flavor and no sauce besides sesame oil. It's like they only googled pictures of bulgogi and tried to replicate that. Also the potato croquette was supposed to come in 2 pieces but instead we got 1 croquette...cut in half.
Feb 04, 2024 · AmyI was there for a take out order. Unfortunately the staff didn't seem to care that I was waiting at the pew. I eventually had to flag a waiter down in order to even place my order. The gentleman who took my order was the only positive about this experience. The two sushi rolls that I ordered were basic. A simple California and Crab roll. When I got back to our hotel my son tried one piece from each roll and spit them both our one after the other. The basic crab roll wasn't basic at all. The crab was shredded and mixed with something that made it taste awful. I didn't even like it and I can handle most flavors. The seaweed wrap around both rolls tasted awful and was dry. The ingredients in both rolls seemed old.Needless to say, both rolls got tossed in the garbage. My poor son felt so bad for spitting it out that he offered to pay me back for them. Naturally that was a hard no, but it tells you just how bad they were.
