Seaside Poke Introduce
For Houstonians seeking a fresh, healthy, and incredibly flavorful meal, Seaside Poke has quickly become a standout destination. Located at 2118 Lamar St Unit 101, this vibrant eatery brings the essence of Hawaiian poke right to the heart of the city. Poke, pronounced "poh-KAY," is a traditional Hawaiian dish of diced raw fish, usually served over rice and topped with various fresh ingredients. It's often described as deconstructed sushi, offering all the fresh flavors of sushi in a convenient and customizable bowl.
Seaside Poke has garnered a strong reputation for its exceptional quality, with customers consistently raving about the freshness of their fish. Many reviewers highlight the "buttery and fresh" salmon and "refreshing" tuna, noting that even those usually wary of raw fish find the quality here to be superb. Beyond the premium proteins, Seaside Poke offers a delightful array of fresh toppings and sauces, allowing for a truly personalized culinary experience. While it's noted that the regular bowls might be a bit pricier and the protein scoops on the smaller side for some, the overwhelming consensus is that the taste and freshness make it "SO good" and "definitely recommend" for anyone on the fence about trying a new poke spot. This article will delve into what makes Seaside Poke a beloved and highly recommended choice for locals seeking a healthy and delicious meal in Houston.

Seaside Poke Reviews
Wasn’t too sure about trying a new poke place but Seaside was SO good!! I usually have to have poke places cook my salmon a little because they’re always a bit weird tasting but not here! The salmon here was so buttery and fresh and the tuna was SO refreshing too!! The toppings are nice as well! Would definitely recommend this place if you’re on the fence with trying out a new spot!!
May 16, 2025 · Olivia GarciaOur favorite poke place, the poke tastes good and fresh. Giving 4 stars for the value since its a bit expensive at $15/bowl for a regular size and the scoops of protein are on the smaller side. We were also missing items in 2 of the 4 bowls that our group ordered.
Apr 19, 2025 · Michelle NAbsolutely love this poke place it’s my go to spot for poke here in houston. You won’t find a place with fresher fish or better mix-ins. The staff is so nice and you can tell they genuinely put love into each bowl. Perfect for ordering to go or coming here after a sports game. The price is definitely worth it and you can make your own or order a pre made bowl. 10/10 if you like poke, after this place you won’t want to go anywhere else
