This is a fantastic Japanese spot. The red snapper temaki is excellent with crisp seaweed wrapped around fresh and a sweet topping that blends it together perfectly. Their tebasaki wings are some of the best I’ve had in NYC - huge, crunchy and coated in a sweet-spicy sauce that is awesome.The spicy miso ramen isn't overly hot, but it's packed with flavor and the noodles are perfectly chewy. Definitely a spot to come try!

It is difficult to find a good bowl of Shoyu in the city so I was happy to find this place!I also really enjoyed the Temaki, Chutoro and the Yellowtail being my favorite. The beer on tap, premium malts is also a very delicious japanese beer.The beautiful handmade bowls and plates, and the lovely service has made my visits here incredible pleasant. Looking forward to come back!

The handroll was just a piece of nigiri with a piece of seaweed around it… and the ootoro was very fishy. The tzukumen and ramen didn’t have a rich flavor profile. I can easily think of a dozen ramen places in the city that are better than this one unfortunately. Also if this place is also a furniture showroom, it has some of the most uncomfortable seating I’ve ever sat in.
February 14 · Jing YangShuya is an amazing neighborhood addition. Spicy ramen is sooo good. Shiyo was solid but I preferred the spicy ramen. The fried chicken is out of this world and the hand rolls / sushi bites (not advertised so almost a little secret) are amazing and so fresh. Will be back!
