My husband and I were craving sushi, and with plenty of options nearby, we decided to try Suck It since it was within walking distance of our hotel, the Marriott Riverwalk. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, thanks to the cozy lighting and seating. The beautiful Asian-inspired décor added even more charm to the space. We arrived about 30-40 minutes before closing, yet we were seated and served right away. Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the evening. We also noticed several other guests arriving close to closing time, including a party of six, and no one was turned away — something you don’t often see. Despite the late hour, the quality and presentation of the food didn’t suffer at all. In fact, we saw one of the larger orders beautifully presented on two wooden boats — it looked amazing! We ordered the Crunchy and Tempura Shrimp rolls, along with two signature rolls: Aria and New York New York. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. Everything was absolutely delicious! This is easily one of my top sushi spots, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend! - melissa flournoy
