Suck It: The Restaurant @ St. Paul Square Reviews
My husband and I were craving sushi, and with plenty of options nearby, we decided to try Suck It since it was within walking distance of our hotel, the Marriott Riverwalk. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, thanks to the cozy lighting and seating. The beautiful Asian-inspired décor added even more charm to the space. We arrived about 30-40 minutes before closing, yet we were seated and served right away. Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the evening. We also noticed several other guests arriving close to closing time, including a party of six, and no one was turned away — something you don’t often see. Despite the late hour, the quality and presentation of the food didn’t suffer at all. In fact, we saw one of the larger orders beautifully presented on two wooden boats — it looked amazing! We ordered the Crunchy and Tempura Shrimp rolls, along with two signature rolls: Aria and New York New York. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. Everything was absolutely delicious! This is easily one of my top sushi spots, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!
March 16 · melissa flournoyGreat spot for ramen! It was walking distance from the hubub of the River Walk, and felt so nice and welcoming. The staff was very helpful, as my brain was a little toast from travel. I enjoyed the shoyu ramen. The pork belly was really nice, and so were the ramen eggs.I was flying solo, but I would gladly come back with a larger party and order appetizers and make a bigger dinner of it.Great place, awesome atmosphere with the armor sets against the wall and lanterns on the ceiling.
October 22 · Jon JunellLove the atmosphere and the food! Super cute location and the food comes out fast!We only tried the ramen this time, and I loved the chicken one! I subbed the fried chicken for pork because fried foods in soup is weird to me, and I think it's how I'll order it every time!!We'll come back next time for the drinks!
August 18 · SarahWe walked from our hotel, and had some of the best Asian food I have had in a long time!! Would definitely visit and eat here more often if I lived in town. Go visit the place!!
March 07 · OdrosselgalIt was about 9 pm when we walked inBut the problem was they said it was a 35-minute wait for sushi roles. They served me can tuna with, I'm guessing pepper. Photo included.
