Sugo Hand Roll Bar Reviews
This was a really cool concept and the hand rolls were delicious! The seating resembles hibachi style and you can watch each roll you order being made fresh. All the rolls we tried were so good! We also shared the agedashi tofu in the beginning which I also loved. The shrimp and spicy tuna hand rolls were my favorite. At the end we were given complimentary sake as well as we were celebrating a friends birthday. Overall it was great service and delicious food!

May 23, 2025 · Erica JobWe went to Sugo Hand Roll Bar on a Saturday night with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to them. The place was absolutely packed, and even with a reservation, we had to wait an extra 15 minutes to be seated. The entrance setup is a bit awkward, you have to walk in and around to get to the hostess stand, and when we arrived, no one greeted us. The host was quick and short with us, which didn't make for the most welcoming start. We were hoping to be seated at the bar, but instead got put in the dining room, which made the vibe less fun than we were expecting. Our server was nice but really busy, so we didn't see them much. The food and drinks were good. The sushi tasted fresh, and the lychee martini was delicious (plus, the presentation was fun). But as good as they were, they didn't quite make up for the overall experience.Would we go back? Maybe, if it was less busy, the wait was shorter, and we got to sit at the bar. Might give it another try to see if things improve!
Mar 06, 2025 · Lauren KaufmanYummy hand roll bar near Pike Place. Had a nice ambience with fun drinks! We ordered individual hand rolls, my favorite was the unagi, as well as agedashi tofu. Everything was fresh and delicious. Not sure if I will visit again because it is quite pricey for what it is.
