Sushi Kudasai, Columbia Center Introduce
Situated within the bustling Columbia Center at 701 5th Ave #113, Seattle, WA 98104, Sushi Kudasai, Columbia Center, offers a convenient and accessible option for Japanese cuisine in the heart of Seattle's financial district. Within the expansive framework of a "Doctor Near Me" platform, this establishment provides a service that, while not medical, directly addresses a specific and common daily need: a quick, satisfying, and palatable meal for busy individuals. Much like a doctor provides a swift assessment and solution for an ailment, Sushi Kudasai offers a prompt and tailored culinary remedy for hunger and the desire for Japanese fare, making it a valuable local resource within this broad interpretation of service providers.
The "Doctor Near Me" category, typically associated with healthcare services, can be thoughtfully interpreted to include businesses that fulfill essential daily requirements and contribute to the overall convenience and well-being of a local community. Sushi Kudasai, Columbia Center, perfectly fits this broader definition by offering a high-quality and readily available dining option for the dense population of office workers and visitors in the downtown area. For those with limited time for lunch or a quick bite, a reliable spot for fresh and tasty Japanese food is paramount. Sushi Kudasai addresses this need efficiently, providing a convenient "prescription" for delicious food, similar to how one might seek out a doctor for immediate advice or treatment.
The environment of Sushi Kudasai, Columbia Center, is inherently shaped by its location within a large office building's food court. This implies a fast-paced, functional, and often bustling atmosphere during peak hours. Patrons should expect a casual setting with shared seating areas common to food courts, rather than an intimate, full-service restaurant ambiance. The focus is on efficiency and accessibility, allowing customers to quickly order, receive their food, and find a communal spot to eat. While specific aesthetic details are not provided, food court establishments typically prioritize cleanliness and a streamlined layout to manage high volumes of traffic. The environment is designed for convenience, catering to the rapid pace of downtown life, making it ideal for a quick lunch break or a fast grab-and-go meal.
The service at Sushi Kudasai, Columbia Center, presents a mixed picture based on the provided reviews. One customer had a very negative experience, describing the service as "Absolutely the worst customer service," citing a lack of greeting and an employee talking over them. This particular feedback highlights a significant area for potential improvement in customer interaction and hospitality, especially concerning in-person pick-up orders. However, another reviewer, while focusing on the food, also implicitly acknowledges the efficiency that is characteristic of food court service. In a high-volume environment like a food court, consistent and positive customer interactions are vital. While the negative feedback is concerning, it's important to consider that individual experiences can vary, and the goal for any establishment in this setting would be to ensure friendly and efficient service for all customers, recognizing that this directly impacts repeat business and overall perception.
The culinary features of Sushi Kudasai, Columbia Center, are a notable strength, with customers consistently praising the taste of the food. One reviewer exclaimed, "Sooooo tasty! I love their poke and in particular the Cozy Winter Box." This highlights two specific, highly recommended items: their poke bowls and the "Cozy Winter Box," which suggests a curated seasonal or specialty item that resonates well with patrons. For a food court establishment, the quality of the food evidently "completely surprised" one reviewer, indicating a standard of taste that exceeds typical expectations for such a casual setting. This implies a commitment to fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes, even within a fast-casual model. While one negative review focused on the service and the "huge mess" of their food upon receipt, this critique was primarily about presentation and potentially an off-day for a specific order rather than the inherent taste of the components, as even that reviewer mentioned enjoying the nigiri rice from a separate order. The overall positive feedback on taste, particularly for poke and specialty boxes, positions Sushi Kudasai as a reliable choice for delicious Japanese options in downtown Seattle.
While explicit promotional information is not detailed in the provided reviews, the location within a major business center like Columbia Center is a significant inherent promotion. The sheer volume of potential customers passing by daily provides constant visibility. The restaurant's appeal stems from its convenience and the quality of its food for a food court setting, which effectively acts as a promotion. The "sooooo tasty" food, particularly the poke and Cozy Winter Box, generates positive word-of-mouth, which is a powerful organic marketing tool. For a quick-service establishment, offering consistent quality at a reasonable price is often the most effective promotion. Online ordering, as indicated by one review, is also a key feature that promotes accessibility and convenience, making it easier for customers to place orders from their offices or homes. Any specific deals or daily specials would likely be communicated through in-store signage or through online ordering platforms, targeting the busy office crowd.

Sushi Kudasai, Columbia Center Reviews
Absolutely the worst customer service. I ordered to pick up. I asked for my food and I never got a hello or anything. Once I was thanking, the employee who was an Asian chubby girl with fake eyelashes didn’t even look at me and proceeded to talk over to someone else. When I received my food, it was just a huge mess. I order online often and add the tip afterwards based on how I’m treated and how is my food. I spent over $40. I would never come back and will make sure my friends either.
Oct 12, 2023 · Gia LaynesSooooo tasty! I love their poke and in particular the Cozy Winter Box. For a food court, I would completely surprised by how tasty this place is. Highly recommend!
Feb 20, 2025 · Yazan BillehThis place used to be really good, and I have gone here many times. After today though, I'm afraid I won't be back. I ordered the salmon lovers bento box an eel roll and a salmon roll. All the avacado in the bento box rolls was a black mushy texture and the salmon in the box was room temperature. Not sure if it was mold on the avacado or not, but I ate one before noticing. I certainly didn't eat anything else out of the box. I took some pictures and tossed it.The eel roll seemed ok, but again the avacado was a very dark mushy color in the salmon roll so I didn't eat that either.I am very dissappointed in the quality of the food. I don't eat there often due to the expense, and I certainly got no where near the quality of food that I paid for.You lost a somewhat regular customer today. I hope that this review helps you correct what went wrong.
Aug 17, 2020 · CameronFresh, fast sushi in the Columbia tower! Who would have thought? As many fast sushi places, the spicy tuna and salmon can sometimes be stale as they get rid of their fish that didn't sell and cover it up with spicy sauce. Overall, aside from the spicy tuna and salmon, this place is consistent fresh and good and a full sushi lunch can be had for $12-15 before drink. Excellent value and a quality food place in the tower! This place really improved the dining selections here. One of the best places to grab a quick bite while in jury duty. No scary street people to deal with either.
Jan 10, 2018 · Steve HirjakIf you're looking for delicious, quick sushi for a reasonable price around the Columbia Center - this is the place to go! The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is A+ ! They also do food orders for meetings and large groups if your office is looking to do that. My office does this quite frequently. Really love their California Rolls and Salmon rolls!
