Sushi Ninja Tampa Introduce
In the vibrant and ever-evolving culinary landscape of Tampa, Florida, local residents often seek establishments that offer a blend of authentic flavors, diverse menus, and a welcoming atmosphere. Sushi Ninja Tampa, nestled at 3018 W Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, FL 33609, emerges as a noteworthy option for those craving Japanese and even Korean cuisine. This family-owned restaurant presents itself as a place where fresh ingredients and a broad selection of dishes cater to a variety of tastes.
Within the innovative framework of a "Doctor Near Me" platform, Sushi Ninja Tampa, while not a medical facility, functions as a local 'provider' of culinary satisfaction and 'remedy' for specific food cravings. Just as one might seek a trusted doctor for specialized care, Sushi Ninja offers a tailored solution for those desiring fresh sushi, hearty Japanese dishes, or authentic Korean flavors. The emphasis on providing diverse options and ensuring quality ingredients aligns with the idea of receiving beneficial and reliable 'treatment' for one's gastronomic well-being. It's a place where you can find a satisfying 'prescription' for a delicious and varied meal, much like seeking out a reliable local service.
One of the primary features of Sushi Ninja Tampa is its diverse menu. Patrons consistently highlight the "wide variety of sushi rolls," encompassing both "familiar and original rolls." This broad selection ensures that whether you're a purist who prefers classic nigiri or an adventurous diner eager to try creative maki, there's something to satisfy your palate. Beyond sushi, a significant draw of Sushi Ninja is the availability of "Korean dishes." This fusion of Japanese and Korean culinary traditions provides an expanded culinary journey, offering unique flavors and preparations that might not be found in solely Japanese establishments. The inclusion of dishes like vegetable fried rice, which one customer praised as "absolutely delicious," indicates a broader commitment to flavorful Asian cuisine.
For midday diners, Sushi Ninja Tampa offers a "varied" and appealing "lunch menu." This provides an excellent opportunity for customers to experience a range of dishes at potentially more accessible price points. The restaurant also caters to younger guests with "kids' menu items are ample," making it a suitable choice for family outings. The ability to accommodate different age groups and culinary preferences under one roof adds to its appeal as a convenient dining option for local families.
The quality of the food at Sushi Ninja Tampa is frequently praised. Customers describe both cooked and raw items as "fresh and top quality." This commitment to fresh ingredients is paramount for a sushi restaurant and contributes significantly to the deliciousness of their offerings. The positive feedback on dishes beyond sushi, such as the vegetable fried rice, suggests a consistent standard of quality across their menu.
The service at Sushi Ninja Tampa generally receives positive remarks, particularly regarding the attentiveness of the staff. One reviewer specifically noted, "The server who took care of us provided excellent service." This indicates a commitment to customer satisfaction and a welcoming approach from the front-of-house team. The staff's helpfulness in guiding patrons through the menu and ensuring a pleasant dining experience is a key strength.
However, an objective introduction requires acknowledging certain aspects that have been highlighted as "cons" by some patrons. The environment, specifically the interior, is noted as being "a bit run down," with suggestions that "The corner wall I was sat in looked rough and could use a fresh coat of paint." While this does not impact the food quality, it suggests that the ambiance may not be as polished as some other establishments. Another practical consideration for diners is the parking, which is described as a "tricky size and layout." This might require some careful maneuvering or patience during peak hours.
A significant point of concern raised by a customer relates to an unposted "service charge for Tables of 5 or more," amounting to $20, which was "not posted or printed anywhere on the restaurant or menu!" This lack of transparency regarding additional fees is a "big issue" that "can not overlook" for some customers, especially when the total bill for a family, even for lunch and kids' menu items, can reach a substantial amount. Furthermore, there have been reported issues with order accuracy for pickup orders, with a customer stating they "didn’t receive over half my order" despite leaving a tip and attributing it to "new staff." This highlights a need for consistent training and quality control in order fulfillment. Potential customers should be aware of these reported service and transparency issues, particularly for larger groups or pickup orders, and might consider confirming charges or order contents. For the most up-to-date and accurate information, directly contacting Sushi Ninja Tampa at (813) 898-2874 or +1 813-898-2874 before visiting or placing an order is recommended.
In terms of promotional information, while specific deals were not detailed in the provided reviews beyond the existence of a "lunch menu," the restaurant's family-owned nature and diverse menu are inherent draws. The availability of both Japanese and Korean dishes serves as a unique selling point. For potential promotions or specials, diners might look for information on their website, social media, or by inquiring directly. The generous kids' menu items and varied lunch options can be seen as ongoing value propositions for families and those seeking a mid-day meal.
In conclusion, Sushi Ninja Tampa at 3018 W Kennedy Blvd offers a compelling option for local users seeking fresh and top-quality Japanese and Korean cuisine. Its wide variety of sushi rolls, inclusion of authentic Korean dishes, and ample lunch and kids' menus make it a versatile choice for different dining preferences and groups. While the environment might benefit from some updates and there have been reported issues with unposted service charges and order accuracy, the overall quality of the food and the generally excellent service contribute to its appeal as a local family-owned establishment. For those seeking a diverse and flavorful Asian culinary experience in the context of a "Doctor Near Me" convenience, Sushi Ninja Tampa provides a unique and satisfying option.

Jan 27, 2025 · Jorge SotoThis is a small family owned restaurant. Everything cooked and raw is fresh and top quality.I'm a fan of vegetable fried rice. But, everything I've had has been absolutely delicious.
Apr 08, 2025 · betsy krugerI tried Sushi Ninja this weekend for lunch. It was a great dining experience. I had salmon teriyaki which came with soup and salad. Also got their salmon skin rolls and eel and cucumber rolls. Their prices are pretty reasonable for a Japanese restaurant. The salmon was $21, and the portion was quite big. There were 3 pieces of salmon on top of a bed of broccoli and zucchini. There was a bit too much gravy. I would ask them to go easy on the sauce next time. The flavor was good though, not too salty as sometimes could happen with a Japanese or Asian restaurant. The sushi rolls were ok. The prices were about $7-$8 per roll. They gave you about 8 pieces per roll. The ambience was nice, and service was friendly and courteous. So overall I think they did a good job and would return.
Apr 22, 2025 · Cherisse RatanSushi and Korean restaurant that has stood the test of time. Both locations are good, with this location being more rustic. The food is just as good, and there are a lot of creative rolls on the menu. We ordered sushi appetizer, screaming orgasm, lollipop, crab Rangoon and FSU roll. All were tasty, and enjoyable.
Aug 10, 2024 · Andrew SandersonOne of my favorite sushi spots in Tampa. Great portions. The hidden gems is all the Korean dishes they serve as well. If you’re in the mood for either Korean or sushi, definitely stop in!
