Sushi Payce offers a range of services designed to provide a flexible and enjoyable dining experience:
- All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) Dine-In: This is their flagship service, allowing customers to order unlimited sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi (with certain restrictions), and a wide array of appetizers from their menu. The AYCE model typically has a time limit (e.g., 90 minutes) and rules regarding uneaten food to minimize waste.
- A La Carte Ordering: While primarily known for AYCE, they also offer individual menu items for those who prefer to order specific dishes rather than the all-inclusive deal.
- Online Ordering via Tablet: Customers praise the smooth experience of ordering directly via a laptop or tablet at their table, which facilitates quick and accurate order placement.
- Takeout: For those who prefer to enjoy their sushi at home or on the go, takeout options are available. Their menu for individual rolls and platters is also comprehensive for this service.
- Delivery: Sushi Payce partners with major third-party delivery services like Uber Eats and Seamless (ChowNow) for convenient food delivery to your location.
- BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle): A significant perk noted by customers, Sushi Payce has a BYOB policy, allowing guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages (wine, beer, spirits) to enjoy with their meal, often with no corkage fee.
- Group Dining: The all-you-can-eat format and ample seating make it an excellent choice for groups, friends, and family gatherings.
Sushi Payce is distinguished by several key features and highlights that contribute to its popularity and unique dining experience in Chicago:
- High-Quality All-You-Can-Eat Sushi: Unlike some AYCE concepts, Sushi Payce is highly praised for the freshness and flavor of its sushi. This includes a wide variety of classic rolls, specialty rolls like the "Godzilla Roll," "Dragon on Fire," "Panther Roll," and "My Girl Roll," as well as nigiri and sashimi.
- Extensive Menu Beyond Sushi: Their menu extends well beyond just sushi, offering a broad selection of hot and cold appetizers such as Spam Musubi, fried chicken wings (Karaage), Crab Rangoon, Gyoza, Takoyaki, and Rock Shrimp. They also feature Japanese ramen and udon dishes, as well as poke bowls and various salads.
- Modern Tablet Ordering System: The use of laptops or tablets for ordering at the table provides a seamless and efficient experience, allowing diners to order at their own pace without waiting for a server to take their order.
- Cozy and Trendy Atmosphere: Customers describe the ambiance as "nice" and "cozy and trendy," with appealing decor, including cherry blossom themes, contributing to a pleasant and lively vibe. The establishment is also noted for being "super clean."
- Attentive and Quick Service: Despite being busy, the staff is consistently commended for being attentive, friendly, and quick, ensuring that orders are delivered promptly and diners have everything they need.
- BYOB Policy: The "Bring Your Own Bottle" policy for alcoholic beverages is a major highlight, providing flexibility and cost savings for those who enjoy pairing their sushi with their favorite drinks.
- Generous Portions: Even within the AYCE format, portions are noted as generous, particularly for appetizers, ensuring a truly satisfying feast.
- Dessert Options: While not as extensive as the savory options, they offer sweet treats like Sesame Balls and often a selection of refreshing smoothies.
Sushi Payce's primary "promotion" is its compelling all-you-can-eat pricing structure, which offers substantial value for the amount and variety of food offered. Their AYCE prices are typically structured as follows:
- Lunch AYCE: Approximately $23-$25.95 (varies by day, often available on weekdays).
- Dinner AYCE: Around $33-$39.95 (varies by day, often available all day on weekends and evenings).
- Kids Pricing: Reduced rates for children, usually based on age (e.g., ages 4-10 for around $16-$24, with children 3 and under often eating free).
Beyond these core AYCE prices, customers should also be aware of potential offers such as:
- Online Order Discounts: Keep an eye out for specific discounts or free delivery on orders placed through their online platforms (e.g., Seamless, Uber Eats).
- Specialty Roll Combos: For a la carte dining, they offer various combo deals like "Any 3 Signature Rolls" or "Any 2 Signature Rolls + 4 sushi or sashimi" at bundled prices, providing good value.
It is always recommended for locals to check Sushi Payce's official website or current menus on third-party delivery apps for the most up-to-date pricing and any limited-time promotions.

Dropped around $33 on their all-you-can-eat deal, which included a variety of rolls like the Godzilla Roll and Dragon on Fire, plus appetizers like spam musubi and fried chicken wings. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere is cozy and trendy, with cherry blossom decor and a lively vibe. Service was attentive, even during peak hours, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to for a satisfying sushi feast.

May 25, 2025 · Imran GhoriSushi Payce is pure sushi heaven! 🍣🔥 The all-you-can-eat sushi and appetizers were phenomenal, and the drinks hit the spot. The atmosphere is fun, with a fireplace to set the vibe. Service is on point—quick and friendly. Heads up—RSVP is a must because the wait can be long. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Jan 21, 2025 · Mahagany MThe place was decent but calling it all you can eat is very far-fetched. They don't even have spoons and knives for people that don't know how to use chopsticks. Plus a lot of the good stuff on the menu is one per person allowed and there is only one dessert available(mochi) and it is only one piece allowed per person. It is a waste of money not gonna lie.
