Blown away from how insanely delicious this food was!!! We had the croquettes, a yellowtail hand roll, the shrimp tempura udon, the bulgogi fries, and the chicken curry. Everything was a 10/10, and I can’t wait to come back ♡

Food and atmosphere was wonderful. We ordered 3 rolls and all were delicious, unfortunately I can’t remember the names but I did take a picture. Highly recommend Sushi Sakana.

Sushi Sakana has truly become our place. From the moment we first walked in, the staff made us feel like regulars—even before we were. They’re incredibly warm, attentive, and always greet us with a smile. It’s rare to find that kind of genuine hospitality these days.The food is consistently outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared every time. Whether we’re grabbing a quick weeknight dinner or celebrating something special, we always leave happy (and full). And for the quality, the prices are more than fair.

The sushi at this restaurant was decent but nothing exceptional. The variety of rolls was okay, and the quality of the fish and appetizer was average - Fantastic Roll ($18) & Friend Calamari ($10). The service was prompt, but the ambiance lacked a bit of character. Overall, it's an average spot for a quick sushi fix compared to other DFW sushi spots. I might try again for their Happy Hour.

Finally found my perfect 🍣 spot. This place has some of the freshest and best tasting sushi that Dallas has to offer. And while most sushi places don’t put effort into carry out, this place makes the presentation of carry out orders look phenomenal.
