Sushi Seki Reviews
I came to sushi seki for my first omakase experience and it did not disappoint! First, we got some appetizers and the fried chicken was very good, flavorful and tender. Then, the first omakase dish came out and I was stunned by the presentation, very pretty! That tuna was absolutely MIND-BLOWING! It was my first time having tuna that didn't taste fishy and it just melted in my mouth. Every single piece of sushi I had was so tasty, I couldn't stop smiling. On the next plate, my favorite was the oyster! It was so tasty and the seaweed added great flavor as well. On the next plate, I was scared to have their uni because of a past experience but it was actually sweet and very good! It made me realize I just didn't have quality sushi before. I really like the scallop nigiri as well and the hand roll was delicious! I was so full but needed to try their dessert and I was shocked that even the dessert was AMAZING. I almost ordered a second one, I believe it was a chocolate panna cotta. The service was great too, I have no complaints. Each piece was explained by the server and they made sure to accommodate our requests, each of us had different ones. They had a welcoming atmosphere as soon as we walked in. Overall, best experience I've ever had, the food was excellent. I've had omakase many times since then but sushi seki is still my number one choice, I'll be back again!
Dec 29, 2024 · AnnaWent last night and they don't close till 12:30 the waiter Danny came over and said it's last call for drinks so my friend and I got two more rounds of drinks and then Danny put the bill in front of us it was only 12. I said I wasn't done eating and he never said it was last call for food. Regardless we had two more drinks to finish. We were sitting at the sushi bar and the chef didn't mind serving us more pieces. Danny said no we couldn't order more. Unbelievable our bill was over 400$ to be treated like that after such an expensive meal was horrible. Danny was so rude basically kicking us out because he wanted to go home. There were other people there as well. In any restaurant I've been to I've never been treated so poorly. What a terrible experience I will not be back. The chef looked horrified when Danny spoke to us that way even the other people there were in shock. Customer service is very important but unfortunately their staff lacks that and it was very embarrassing to be treated that way. After reading other reviews I see a lot of people say the same thing about the staff. I called to speak to a manager and still haven't heard back. I then called again and the hostess said she's not there and I said I just spoke to someone else earlier and he said she was there. She then said yes she's is here but she's busy just email us. I said no I can wait and she hung up on me. I can't even make this up how horrible the staff is. And mind you Danny actually said he was the manager and when I called I was told he wasn't. Unreal there's so many other sushi places save your money. Also the decor is not nice.
Mar 15, 2025 · Nicole AimeInteresting and creative sushi place. Some dishes are really good - white tuna sushi with seared tomato and triple decker with caviar and uni. Other dishes are not so good, such as fried chicken and seaweed salad. But overall, it is a good sushi spot in the city
Oct 02, 2023 · Alex SerebrovTruly amazing, All omakaze are so tasty, yet delicate. This location are always busy which is good thing for them! So Reservation is recommended. The service also go along with food quality. Nice and friendly. The timing between each dish during busy time might take around 10-15min. We complete the whole set and total spend time there around 3hr. It’s a nice gathering with friend, family or coworker to have conversation during special dinner.
Nov 03, 2021 · Korapin SrisomThis place was decent as a neighborhood sushi spot. The sushi rolls weren’t the best I’ve had but I do like the fact that they don’t add too much rice. The big hit of the night though were the A5 wagyu skewers - perfectly cooked and just so mouth watering good.
